Many people looking for a dentist also need a doctor, and this group lists the medical clinics, family physicians, urgent care and walk-in centers, hospitals, pediatricians, eye doctors, medical specialists and pharmacies near the dental practices on the site. Primary care in the US runs through family doctors and internists who coordinate referrals; urgent care centers handle minor injuries and illnesses without an appointment for far less than an emergency room; hospitals with emergency departments are the place for severe facial trauma or a dental infection that spreads. Pharmacies fill the antibiotics and pain medication a dentist prescribes and sell fluoride rinses and prescription-strength toothpaste.

Communication seems to be consistently nonexistent with this office. They don't ever answer phones, reply to mychart messages or respond to requests. I've been pain due to my impacted teeth daily now and asked for help multiple times, yet nothing. Doesn't matter how ill or in pain you are, they don't care. I understand that offices get busy, but basic communication should not be this difficult to maintain. You're much better off being seen anywhere else if you value your time and being treated decently.

After more than three years of searching for answers with other providers, Dr. Pearl was the first to truly listen, identify the problem, and give me a clear plan. He and his entire staff provide exceptional, compassionate care and are incredibly knowledgeable. From the moment I walked in, I felt heard and genuinely cared for. I highly recommend Dr. Pearl to anyone looking for a provider who takes the time to find answers and deliver outstanding care.

These people must do better with their form of communication. To blatantly state they've been trying to get in contact with the "patient" was a bold face lie because #1 There are no calls from UT Health on my phone since January which was a different provider & #2 IF you were why wasn't there a voicemail left like all other providers with regards to said patient? I know why, you NEVER called and the patient has been waiting for a WC approval to get an appointment since the beginning of February. Do better people

The whole team seemed very nice, and were respectful, Dr Schum was courteous and talked about my issue and what the planned next steps will be. Dr Hengen his PA or Junior was especially very helpful and made me comfortable. All the other staff was good also. The wait time was long but that is par for the course when seeing a good busy Dr like Dr. Shum.
