The staff has gotten a lot better over time. The front desk check ins go pretty smooth. The nurses are very helpful and attentive to the patients needs. Dr. Khan is a wonderful doctor. I truly appreciate how attentive and caring he is during every visit. He takes the time to listen and explains everything in a way that is easy for me to understand. My appointments never feel rushed, and I always feel that he genuinely cares about my health and well-being. I’m very grateful to have such a compassionate and knowledgeable doctor. He is truly great at what he does!

Two appointments in, everything on that side from check in to discharge has been surprisingly impressive. Excellent. However, walk to the other side to pick up medication and you find a machine but no sign. After wandering around like an idiot, hoping someone will see me and do their job I walk over and force them to answer a question against their will. While on the clock. "Hit the metal button." They have placed metal coins over the buttons to only give you one option. What a weird answer. Especially when drowning in attitude tempered by ignorance. C098 Two windows open. Two other patients already seated waiting. Now serving C092. Where are those other four people? Someone must have slipped through the cracks during what is clearly and already super loose vetting procedure by listing "street pharmacist" under previous experience.

I visited here on a Saturday. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The facility is far cleaner than ANY clinic I've seen. It's a comfortable atmosphere that does feel like a medical clinic. And that's a good thing. The idea of opening on Saturday is a huge huge benefit. It's difficult to take off work during the week so this makes it much easier to get help,this also helps give you some peace of mind knowing that a quality clinic is available. They have a pharmacy in the facility if your meds are assigned to the Harris Health pharmacy. The courtesy of the entire staff is greatly appreciated.I do have 1 concern. I never received any follow up information from the N.P. following my test results.

Note that Harris County Hospital does not provide walk-in or emergency services. Instead, patients are seen by appointment only. On the bright side, the hospital offers ample free parking.

Review of Care at Harris Health Northwest Health Center The facility is exceptionally clean, and the staff are consistently respectful, professional, and genuinely committed to helping patients. Every team member I interacted with demonstrated deep expertise and sincere concern for my wellbeing. What truly impressed me was their attentiveness: I received a call late at night regarding an important health matter, followed by a personal message from the physician the next morning. This level of care and follow-through is rare and deeply appreciated. I extend my heartfelt thanks to the entire team—especially Dr. Marshall J. Frieden, whose thoughtful communication and dedication made a meaningful difference.
