First off let me say Melissa is the best she is now my permanent dental hygienist she made me feel comfortable took her time and explained everything to me did not miss a beat. Would recommend her to anyone and then there’s Dr Williams he was so nice and friendly went over the process and steps to getting my smile back wanted to make sure I understood everything before I left. I’ve always bounced around to different dental offices but honestly I have found my forever dental care team with Lakewood family dental care. Thank you to the whole staff for your excellent customer service and making me feel so comfortable

I’ve been going to this dental office since I was a kid, and Dr. Slaughter has done a great job preserving the history and feel of the place. Having a local resident own and run the practice makes a difference, and you can feel that in how they treat their patients and the community. The front staff, Jody and Leslie, are warm, welcoming, and make everything easy from the moment you walk in. It never feels rushed or transactional, which is rare these days. And honestly, no visit is complete without seeing Minnie Pearl, the Lakewood family mascot dog and the true star of the office. She brings a little personality and comfort that you just don’t find at most places. What I appreciate most is that it hasn’t turned into one of those impersonal, corporate-feeling offices. They’ve done a great job keeping that balance of modern care while holding onto the trust and familiarity that’s been there for years. I’m glad to still be coming here after all this time.

They couldn’t be any nicer! I told my husband I couldn’t believe I was saying it, but going to the dentist is fun! As a first-time patient, I had already talked to Jody to book the appointment and she lived up to her totally personable first impression. Alexa, my hygienist, was kind and extremely professional and made the time fly by. Of course, the icing on the cake was Miss Minnie Pearl, the best office mascot EVER! I highly recommend Lakewood Family Dental Care.

I am a new client here I’ve lived in Lakewood for 9 years. The entire staff have been so great so far! Plus as a bonus my new doc’s last name is Slaughter. If that isn’t a win right. But in all seriousness I highly recommend giving them a shot. Melissa has been taking care of me over there on my last few visits and she’s also amazing. I also don’t ever leave reviews but when I do it’s only when something is really great and they are and deserve this and more. Thank you

We absolutely love the care and services we receive at Lakewood Family Dental. It was daughter’s first filling and Jodie made sure Minnie Pearl was ready to help ease my daughter’s anxiety. Dr. Slaughter and his assistant Norma are always very professional and make you feel at ease, both are very thorough and great bedside manner. Great feeling all around soon as you walk in the door.
