The periodontist and hygienist at this practice are excellent. The doctor is knowledgeable, skilled, and provides high-quality care, and the hygienist is thorough and professional. If my experience were based solely on the clinical care, I would rate this office much higher. Unfortunately, the administrative side of the practice significantly detracts from the overall experience. The facility itself feels dated, but more concerning is the staff’s bedside manner and customer service. The office recently implemented a $75 cancellation fee for appointments canceled within 48 hours. According to staff, patients were notified by postcard. However, reminder calls are often made less than 48 hours before the appointment, which means that if a scheduling conflict arises when you’re reminded, it’s already too late to avoid the fee. This feels unfair and more punitive than patient-centered. What made matters worse was the attitude displayed when I raised concerns during my recent visit in the office. I arrived on time but waited about 20 minutes past my scheduled appointment. When I asked about the delay, I was told that they are a surgical practice and that running late is normal. No apo

I showed up for my appointment that I booked 6 weeks ahead of time and they had canceled my visit for a surgery and no one had called me to notify me. They were unable to get me in in despite the fact that no one called to cancel or notify me of a cancellation. Horribly unprofessional. I absolutely do not recommend this practice.

Dr. Lipson, Sr. did a gum graft many years ago for me that has held up. It was a miracle, and he even accepted my feedback to take a look and tighten a stitch I found had come loose (normal). He tightened it. He’s honest and would never try to aggressively treat your teeth or push implants as some unethical Periodontists would do, who are not as skilled and are not Maxiofacial Surgeons. Humble and smart. He used non-dissolvable stitches where needed and dissolvable where acceptable for a perfect result. I’m sure Dr. David Lipson is the same. Honest, gentle during procedure, communicative, calming, pain conscious, painless where it could be, kind, ethical, caring, and not too flashy!!!.

I recently had a second extraction by Dr. David Lipson and he is truly amazing at what he does. His levels of expertise, experience, and technique are such that even the anesthetic injections were painless - and those are some pretty big needles! He will carefully explain what he is doing through the entire process as well, which I found very helpful & comforting. His staff is outstanding as well - very patient, warm, and caring. That evening, I had no pain or discomfort whatsoever and never needed ibuprofen. Next morning, I went to my usual spin class and felt great! At this point, I consider Dr. Lipson a genius at his profession and would highly recommend Lipson Periodontics.

I am terrified of dentists and as a result have a lot of complicated issues with my teeth and have seem A LOT of dentists over the years... None were as good, kind, relaxing, atentative, skillful and professional as Dr David Lipson
