Absolutely unreal to do anything over the phone. Yet you go in in-person and dont see people busy enough to not answer a phone. You never get a human at the pharmacy. So when mhs doesnt have the option to select a full for your meds, no one answers at the clinic, the only thing left is to go in person. 40min round trip to do stuff I should be able to partially do over a phone or online. I am flabbergasted at the user experience for online / phome services for military medical care.

Understaffed. Soonest appointment is 4 weeks or more out, even for ER follow ups that require a referral to speciality care. Can’t even see a PCM within a month, to write a referral to a civilian provider (who will also be scheduled months out), must see the PCM in person for the referral.

Long wait times and subpar service. This place needs to be investigated. Recommend living off base 50 miles away so you can get a civilian PCM.

A joke of a facility that doesn’t provide adequate healthcare. The pharmacy has gotten medications incorrect and had to open an investigation through congress due to the lack of safety precautions. Now the pharmacy has been processing my medications I requested to have refill since Friday and yet after another two hours waiting still don’t have my meds and I have lapsed which is dangerous. They are understaffed and are not prioritizing patient care or subsidizing care outside if they cannot meet demand. I recommend staying away from them and if you need your medical records they also lose them constantly. Also had a dental appointment and because of the AC not working I cannot get seen in time for my retirement as they don’t have any appointments until July. What a joke, facility can’t operate efficiently and then when situations like these arise all they do is say sorry and don’t adjust appointments they canceled.

My experience is just from the pharmacy but wow, new low for navy medicine. I called and was told they would be able to transfer my prescription. The lady said she would call me back and never did. We drove an hour and a half to find it was ‘closed due to power outage’ even though there were lights in all the windows. When we finally were able to get in, they gave us the runaround and basically told me to do their job for them. I’ve decided I’d rather suffer from my symptoms and try to get into a civilian doctor and pharmacy than go to them again.
