I had the most therapeutic experience with Dr Lee, Dental Assistant Addy, and team[there was another person who reassured me, but I didn't catch their name]. Backstory I grew up with dental dams, molt mouth openers, bite blockers, and hygienists who did not adequately suction pooling water. Anytime I got a filling it felt like a needle was being inserted into my root whilst I was getting water boarded. The crew at Your Dental Story, gave me such a comfortable experience. I went in expecting my childhood experiences but I was instead greeted with so much patience and comfort. They let me go at my own pace, and by the time the procedure started I had no anxiety, my panic completely subsided, there was no pain or discomfort and it healed all this dental phobia I had. I was a very therapeutic experience and the filling turned out great. My bite feels exactly the same as it did before the procedure

I would also like to respectfully suggest that patients should not be asked to verbally provide sensitive credit card information, such as the CVV, whenever possible. Instead, payments should be processed directly through a secure card reader or payment terminal, allowing patients to insert, tap, or swipe their own cards. This is a more secure practice and helps protect both patients and your office. Thank you for taking the time to consider this concern. I took my husband to Dental Story- Berkeley Dentistry. Staffs are friendly and accommodating. They made it possible for my husband to get the care he needed even though he is a wheelchair bound patient. Dr. Daniel Chen was very patient and attentive to my husband inquiries. He explained all the procedures to be done for him. It was a very productive visit. I would highly recommend this clinic.

I was very happy with my experience today. Dr. Lee and the dental assistant were very kind and patient. Dr. Lee is an excellent dentist. His supportiveness and expertise were an immense relief as I was pretty nervous before my visit. My administrative assistant Carlos was also very nice and great at his job. The 18-month payment plan is a big help too. Thank You!

I have been coming here since before it was bought by the current owner, Dr. Daniel Chen. I have had issues in the past, but they have for the most part been resolved or a sincere attempt to correct the situation. Today’s experience is the reason for the extremely low review. I came to my periodontal appointment that was scheduled for several months, to find that a receptionist took the liberty to cancel my appointment. I receive reminders to confirm my appointment via email, which is what I did on 04/22/26. I have never had an issue confirming my appointment this way before. Fast forward to today, I arrive to my appointment, to be met with questions from their receptionist Alexis. She asks me my name. My last name. And what my appointment was. She mumbles to someone else, that it has been cancelled. I speak up to inquire about what she is referring to, as I’ve had this appointment & have confirmed already a week ago. I ask her if it is their policy to just cancel appointments after patients have confirmed. She replied if they haven’t heard from me. I’m sorry, but I already confirmed, and I have never had an appointment cancelled after the fact. Alexis is the one who cancell
