They got me in the next day for a broken filling. When I got there they explained that the tooth needed a crown and showed me pictures. This isn’t the first time a dentist has suggested it. But, Dr Chowndary’s demeanor and professionalism put me at ease and they were able to do it the same day, so I said yes. Watching Dr Chowndary and her assistant Carla work is a treat. They are a great team and work together so fluidly. It is rare to see people work so well together. It was like being in the care of a master craftsperson. The office person, whose name I wish I remembered, is also fantastic. They don’t take my insurance and she worked with me to make it affordable. Everyone in the office was patient, professional and kind. The office is clean and well maintained. There is an attached parking garage, but it is $4/hr and limited to less than 7’ vehicles. Street parking is available. They made sure I was numbed up good, no pain. The crown and fillings (i needed two on another tooth) all fit well and the pain from the crown is already gone!

Such a wonderful dental office! Dr. Chowdary, Faby, Karla and Tenneal are absolutely amazing. They are all so friendly, caring, and professional, and they always make you feel welcome and comfortable. I really appreciate how patient and attentive they are. You can tell they truly care about their patients. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a great dental team!

The only reason there are two stars here is because the dental hygienist and staff were great. Unfortunately, the orthodontist here doesn't believe in properly administering anesthetics and will ask you to "push through it" as she did when they suggested I put fillings in 3 sections of my molars when I went to this office. I've already had dental trauma and the dentist said that the drilling wouldn't go too deep and to see if I could go without pain killers. She hit a nerve at least 7-8 times during the procedure, causing full body jolts from the sharp pain. I had to ask for novocaine multiple times, even when she reluctantly gave them to me, it wasn't enough to subdue the pain and I had to ask multiple times for more because the pain was unbearable. On multiple accounts she said that she was "so close to finishing" and if I could "push through another 5 seconds" without additional pain relief. I've never raised my hand up to acknowledge that I was in pain repeatedly and to have it primarily disregarded in my life. At the end, she quickly left the room after I told her that I experienced an inappropriate amount of pain and was clearly unhappy. She later called me and said that in h

Every experience I have had with Berkeley Dental has been overwhelmingly positive. The quality of customer service and patient care is outstanding. All the staff from the front desk staff to the providers are so kind and thoughtful. I was especially impressed with the new patient intake forms which also asked questions to help the providers know what would make you as a patient more comfortable during your visit if you get anxious. The dental care itself is phenomenal. They have such a gentle touch and are truly understanding if you need a break. So glad I found Berkeley Dental Center!

I had a really great experience with Dr. Chowdhary. She’s very patient and clearly knows what she’s doing. She took a lot of time to talk through my treatment plan and explain everything, which I really appreciated. The clinic is clean and comfortable, and the staff are all friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a very positive experience.
