Very frustrating scheduling experience. I called twice promptly at 8:00 AM when the phone lines opened, then called again at 8:28 AM and left a voicemail when I was unable to get through. After receiving no return call, I called a third time after 1:00 PM, only to be told that all appointments were fully booked. I was also told that appointments are handled on a first-come, first-served basis, but that staff sometimes cannot access or get to the voicemails. That makes the “first-come, first-served” policy difficult to understand. If I called when the lines opened and left a voicemail at 8:28 AM, how are people who contacted the office later able to receive appointments ahead of those earlier attempts simply because of an internal phone or scheduling issue? If voicemail cannot reliably be accessed or used to determine who contacted the office first, then it should not be part of a first-come, first-served scheduling system. Patients should not lose their place because of a system flaw completely outside of their control. As a person who gets nervous to go to the dentist, I have to say that this school made me feel comfortable. Mariana and Tai are the best! I wish them a successful career in dentistry. I went in for a check up for tooth pain and needed to do a root canal. They went over the procedures, and ensured me that I would be fine. Both kept the mood professional yet friendly and welcoming. They turned a nervous visit into a positive one. We really need more dental clinics with this type of service! I also met a few wonderful doctors that were there. Dr. Johnson, definitely helped to lighten my mood! All in all, great service, friendly faces, and a happy patient!

To Whom It May Concern, I am formally escalating concerns regarding my treatment experience within the Graduate Prosthodontics Clinic at UTHealth Houston, including the handling of my concerns by Patient Relations. I attempted to address my concerns through the appropriate channels; however, I do not believe my complaints were handled fairly, professionally, or objectively. Instead of receiving a neutral review of my concerns, I felt dismissed, mischaracterized, and improperly blamed without meaningful investigation into the issues I raised. My concerns include: - inaccurate and misleading clinical documentation, - dismissive handling of patient concerns, - unprofessional staff interactions, - failure to appropriately address safety and communication concerns during treatment, - and failure to respond to my certified medical-record amendment request. Additionally, I previously reported concerns involving my banking information and potential unauthorized activity connected to my time as a patient. My wife and I went there to have a tooth repaired for her. The students that worked on her were very professional and likeable young ladies. We'll be going back in August for her to get her temporary cap removed and new cap put on. Thanks UT dental school. 🤘

I was a bit nervous because I had a horrible experience with a low cost dentist years back. However, each student i met with was so nice and kind and very knowledgeable. I went in under Urgent Care which I highly recommend because i was seen in 2 or 3 days vs weeks. I got the 4th year students who have help when they needed it from instructors. I opted from pulling a teeth vs a root canal because even at the school, that was quite pricey ($1600) I believe. Pulling was only $65 and this molar was in the very back. I encourage you to ask questions and if you are hit with much higher less affordable prices, ask for your options. Those were not really discussed with me until I asked. I was surprised at that but once I asked, the student was very forth coming. I utilized chatgpt to help me understand the xrays I was seeing and speak intelligently with the staff. I could have had my tooth pulled the same day but I opted to come back a few days later. I had a virtually painless and super fast extraction and im really happy with my visit, service ...everything and everyone. ❤️ I plan to come back and allow them to take care of the other side as well.
