i had to wait 3 weeks for my appointment . My tooth had cracked so they took an x-ray only to come out tell me its a little infected but im not gonna give you anything for it and im giving you a referral for a oral surgeon.

I've been seen and often treated for trauma related and medical dental issues for decades now and all I can say is THANK YOU Eastside Family Dental Clinic! You've been the heroes many times to this never-scheduled, often emergency care requiring Santa Barbarian who often depended on that sliding scale fee schedule's (basement) floor to allow me to keep the wolves away from my healthcare door. Effective, focused and efficient service with a smile, thank you EFDC! 😁

Took my kid here, having heard about the free/low cost dental clinic a few years back. The female dentist, I wish I could remember her name, was one of the most rude and condescending people I’ve ever met. I thought at first that she’s racist, we’re white. But having read all of these other reviews I see it’s more than that. She’s a nasty, bitter person for who knows what reason. So if you’re expecting any compassion or to to be able to walk in/out with any shred of dignity, this place is NOT the place. Truly one of the most dehumanizing experiences I’ve ever had (this is not hyperbole). I will never, ever go back there and I most certainly would never recommend this place to anyone. Which is exactly what I reported back to the school nurse who recommended I try it. It’s so sad to me. My mother, who was an immigrant, moved here from another country when she was 16. When my father did a runner, she took us to this places counterpart, the Westside Med Clinic for years. And they were so kind and compassionate. I hope this isn’t a reflection of their mentality, as well.

Please notice most 1 star reviews were a year or more ago ..now for mine: About 2 hours ago I received my first ever root canal. I'm actually terrified of dentist and this fear exacerbates pain, so I was proud of myself for showing up. But my teeth are very important to me and I have been trying to get work done on this back area for over two years. With my insurance all anyone else would do was clean them, x-ray them, and send me out the door in more pain and no better condition. This dentist actually saved my tooth. And I'm not in terrible pain. She was so considerate of my comfort ❤️, her and the hygienist who said it was her 7th year working there. I never even imagined my tooth could be saved.....thank you! Thank you so much! Virtual hug!!
