I want to acknowledge the care I got from nurse, Gerone. In addition to being highly skilled at every task required, his kindness and care went far above and beyond what would be expected. His intelligence, compassion and humor made a difficult experience so much easier. I am very grateful.

The staff at this emergency department were incredibly professional, compassionate, and attentive. They took excellent care of my father after he experienced a near-syncopal episode during our flight from Orlando. Our nurse, Beatrice, was absolutely wonderful. She was kind, reassuring, and provided exceptional care throughout our visit. As an emergency department nurse myself, I can honestly say I couldn’t have asked for better care. Our physician, Dr. Jacob, was thorough, compassionate, and took the time to explain everything clearly. She answered all of our questions, kept us informed throughout the evaluation, and had an outstanding bedside manner. Thank you to the entire team for turning a stressful situation into such a positive experience. I would absolutely return to this emergency department if I ever needed emergency care again, and I highly recommend them to anyone in need of excellent medical care.

I'm sure most people only review an ER when they have a bad experience for whatever reason. But I've been here a couple times over the years and have nothing but good things to say about the folks here. Heard the same from other folks who had to go to the ER. They are genuinely kind and seem to care about what they do. I'm not the kinda guy who enjoys going to the hospital at all and I've only been to the ER when I was afraid of a serious health issue which already makes one feel anxious. But everyone from the top down was gracious with me and got me started on a path to take care of the ailment with my PCP. shout out to PN Beh and Dr. Nguyen. Oh and definitely to the folks at the front desk who have to take the brunt of the complaining. They are stand up individuals. Thank you all again and know that you are appreciated.

Let me start off by saying the night shift RN Autumn is a breath of fresh air for a nurse. So kind, so understanding, so empathetic, so willing to help. SHE DESERVES 5 STARS, but sadly the doctors in this ER deserve 1. I came to Providence all the way from Riverside because I love Providence doctors and know that they are supposed to be a prestigious hospital. I was just discharged from arrowhead regional (what a nightmare) 3 days prior but my symptoms had become so much worse since getting home that I searched and searched for a prestigious pulmonary specialist team and drove an hour and a half with shortness of breath to finally be helped the way I deserved. But nope! Doctor was very dismissive. Johnathan Akstinas, DO. I previously had told RN Autumn about how gaslit I felt at the other hospital and everyone just said I had anxiety and didn’t run any tests. Finally felt like I found a nurse who understood the difficulties of navigating the medical system as a woman and never being believed. Then DO Akstinas came in and goes “are you sure you don’t just have anxiety?!” So hurtful and rude. Was just discharged from a different hospital for a rare pulmonary diagnosis where I didn’t
