My experience with Mindpath Health has been extremely frustrating and, at times, harmful. These issues go back to August of last year and have never been properly resolved. For months, I have been trying to navigate their billing and insurance process. There is a clear lack of coordination between departments, and I was repeatedly asked to follow up on issues that should have been handled internally. Despite this, I received communications suggesting potential collections, even though billing questions were still unresolved and were specifically ordered to be paid out from insurance. It is unacceptable to pressure patients financially when your own system is not functioning properly. Communication has also been a major issue. While staff are polite, interactions often feel scripted and unhelpful. Calls are frequently redirected, with no real resolution. Instead of solving problems, I was consistently passed between departments. They are in a great place to be in Santa Monica, inside a building with ac, doing minimal work while collecting paychecks. MindPath Health is the best psychiatry doctor's 👩🏾‍⚕️ office I've ever had for my mental health and wellbeing. I have the pleasure to work with Dr. Verretta Moore. She is culturally competent, culturally humble, culturally sensitive and an attentive listener to my needs as I navigate womanhood with mental Challenges. She gives me the space and grace to be brave and dream big while I navigate my mental health along with my physical health needs outside of the her office. She's always willing to listen and learn about my perspective. Then she gives guidance and redirects my focus back to myself so I can live my best life. Most of all she reminds me of my life is worth living and it supports me to leave my intrusive thoughts behind to be grateful for the life I have now. Thank you, Mind Path for your warm welcoming staff and thank you Dr. Verretta for your expertise and dedication to be excellent. I wish you prosperity and abundance as you save lives every day more than you know. You definitely save mine for myself and shift my mind from going on a negative path.

The staff on the phone are always great and easy to get ahold of quickly. They are fast and reliable and always take care of what you need. My dr is incredible and my telehealth appointments are always on time and my dr listened to my concerns and is genuinely helpful and kind.

I love Mindpath Health! And I love my psychiatrist, Dr. Ania Aniol! Convenient telehealth appointments and great customer service anytime I call the office! Highly recommend!

Dr. Moore has been a godsend. Have been off meds for a while and in the last month she has got me feeling so much better about everything. Even when the pharmacy messes things up, she doesn't mind a bit to call and set them straight. The people manning the phone and email are also an excellent support staff.

My friend went here for his depression and they charged him over $400 DOLLARS! For a THIRTY MINUTE CALL. They charged him this FOUR times. For four 30 minute calls he was charged a total of OVER2000 dollars! Yeah. He went through EXTRENUOUS amounts of effort to get an explanation, they blamed it on INSURANCE even though, it wasn’t processed through his insurance. It was simply taken from his bank account. THEN the secretary LIED on the phone saying we can’t charge you less bc they insurance makes the prices. ???? Uh no they don’t. Each business makes their own fees. Insurance simply decides how much their willing to pay OF the amount required. Everyone needs to know this. PLEASE DONT GET DOOPED BY THESE PEOPLE. DONT give them your account info. He FINALLY got ahold of the director ON CAMERA. She hung up him right away and then sent his straight to voicemail. Not. One. Word.

The telehealth appointments are scheduled for 30 minutes, however they are typically less than 10 minute appointments. They allow a 10 minute grace period before you can no longer show up to the appointment. The office calls 3 minutes after the grace period to remind and then reschedule you. You would think an office that is treating patients for psychiatric help would be a little more sensitive and understanding of patients possibly forgetting about the appointment. Why can’t they call 5 minutes into the appointment so the patient can click the link and hop on the appointment, instead of waiting 2-3 minutes past the grace period to tell you you can’t join the call anymore…even though it really takes 10 minutes and you should be able to join in. We all know the real reason is so they can charge you the $50 for the missed appointment and then reschedule you so you have to wait for your medication refill and then pay again for the next appointment. I just don’t agree with taking advantage of patents like this, especially when it’s a telehealth phone appointment.

I love my experience with MindPath. My doctor is amazing: professional, listens, takes action, compassionate, honest, supportive, respectful, responsive, encouraging, engaging, helpful, ethical, grounded to real world issues, ethnically conscious, and is always willing to take me issues seriously. I have never felt more in the right company at the right time in my life than at MindPath at this point in my life receiving care.
