Used their online system to try and get a copy of my last screening. Never heard back. My doctor also tried and never heard back.

Very slow taking in patients. At today's visit, three people who checked in after me were taken in before me. Seems as though walking in would be more efficient, or visiting an Urgent Care office. ***Today (6-17-26), I called to make an appointment for my mother to see a neurologist. I was told that the earliest available appointment was, "next year". Next year?! More than Six Months?! Absolute Nonsense.

We came in because my son’s neck was hurting him. He was able to move it so no signs of fracture or anything just pain but we wanted to check just in case because he’s so little and we wanted to make sure nothing serious was going on. First, the front desk didn’t check our insurance or let us know this won’t be covered. We waited a while and they didn’t recommend us going to choc. Second, they suggested an xray. The xray yielded no results literally. The doctor came in and said he can’t do anything he didn’t even touch my son’s neck nor offer to re-do the xray nor check his muscles or movement. We even asked him to. He said go to choc. Wasted 3 hours. Choc didn’t do an xray because it wasn’t needed. Hoag sends us a bill of $570. I tried to complain twice they wouldn’t do anything they said it was handled well.

My son Andrew received a referral from his doctor to have an X-ray done. I came twice for this service. The first visit was on January 2 at 4:15 PM, but when I arrived, the office was already closed The Google website does not list business hours, which made this very confusing and frustrating. I returned on January 3, 2026, around 12:00 PM. This time, the front desk staff told me I had to call to make an appointment. I tried to explain that the doctor specifically instructed me to come in directly for the X-ray, but the staff member did not listen or respond to my explanation. The staff member was not wearing a name tag. When I asked for her name, she said Sandy (I am not sure if this was her real name). When I asked for her last name, she told me she does not have a last name and then walked away. This behavior was extremely rude and unprofessional. We are patients and paying customers, and this was the worst customer service I have experienced. A medical office should provide clear communication, accountability, and basic courtesy. I hope this review reaches Hoag Medical Group management so this issue can be addressed and staff receive proper training.

I use to have high regards and respect for Hoag facility in Huntington beach for the last 10 years I’ve been going there, but this year myself and my husband had our annual check up with Dr Jessy M Tsang and we’re both having to deal with medical bills that’s shouldn't cost us anything as it’s part of our preventative annual physical exam. Dr Jessy Tsang medical billing code was not ethical and the billing department and Dr Tsang are avoiding accountability and passing the buck. It is now 8-9 months going and we are still disputing her charges. Update: Dr Jessy Tsang is still employed at Hoag Huntington Beach and now goes by her married name Dr Jessy M Liang Do. Beware and stay clear from this doctor as she is the worse we've ever encounter.
