The absolute worst . They make you wait for 1-2 hours after you arrive for your appointment. The worst clinic , don't go here if you can help it.

I've been going to AltaMed for over 5 yrs. I have no real complaints. The wait times are no worse than anywhere else. The staff are very helpful. Dr. C. Morris & her nurse Roxy are the best. Parking is an issue.

I have been attending altamed for a number of years and overall it is a great place! Altamed has been very good to me. I decided to switch networks because I recently moved and didn’t want to commute to the Huntington Beach location. The obgyns are very professional and treat you with respect! The only thing I would complain about is it is really hard for anyone, regardless of you are a client or a medical professional outside of the facility to communicate with the doctors that work there. You have to wait on hold for about 20-30 minutes just to get through to the front desk, and after that you still can’t get through to a doctor. I would literally have to drive down there to talk to someone, which is really frustrating. I hope for people experiencing an emergency can get through better than myself. Also, Some of my medical information was never received. Despite that, it was a pretty good facility!

Terrible service I took a form to sign and this lady from front desk didn’t took my form. I called Altamed number and asked them and they told me to leave the form so the doctor can sign, so I took a day off which I work as law enforcement to take my daughters form due to her medical issue and they actually told me to take the form until October for a physical, like really they made me lose a day of work and can’t sign my form what is this place ? Even social worker is involved and she is very disappointed with the clinic and already reported with the health insurance and their end on social services. Really terrible experience I had gone through they used to take my forms without hesitation just call me up to pick up but I guess the people working there don’t care no more - hopefully they do something about it.

My mother had went around 9:45am to just get a flu vaccine for my niece. The wait time was great but my mom said the ladies up front desk were rude and were shouting directions of where to go and where to sit. After that; the school required a doctors note for the flu shot or any record along with absence note that the school required. The school stated that we should be able to get a doctors note even for just a flu shot because they required it. The ladies at front desk apparently did not want to write a letter for my mom for the school. After the school was notified that your hospital declined to hand out a note, they are letting us know we have to follow up and bring a note or proof of vaccination.
