My 7-year-old son and I have both been seeing Jackie this year and I'm so thankful we found her! My son has a history of sleep apnea, mouth breathing, and some speech difficulties. Jackie was so amazing working with him to help address these issues by correcting his tongue thrust. She also identified his need for a palate expander. Jackie works incredibly with kids and adults alike and I highly recommend her!

Jackie completes a thorough evaluation of client and comes up with treatment plan. She connects well with my daughter and knows when to push a bit and when to give space. She listens and adjusts treatment plans accordingly. It’s been a great experience and we are learning a lot.

For anyone who has concerns or suspicions about possible dysfunction going on in or around the mouth, I highly recommend making an appointment with Jackie. I’ve spent the last 17 years of my life bringing up my TMJ issues to every provider I’ve seen. Most did not have suggestions that went further than physical therapy (which hasn’t worked for me in the past). More recently, a primary care provider suggested I start taking a muscle relaxant each night to help with jaw clenching, and stated that I would probably be dealing with this issue for “a very long time.” I was never interested in using medication as a bandaid for an issue that I felt should have other options for treatment. Later that day, I reached out to Jackie. I really didn’t know much about Myofunctuonal therapy, other than what I had seen from videos online. I went to Jackie seeking help for my jaw, and came away from my intake appointment with more information than any previous provider had ever shared with me about why my body was having this problem. After a couple hours with Jackie, I learned that I had a severe tongue tie and a high and narrow palate, and possibly some form of hypermobility. Now I know that TMJ

Jackie has been amazing throughout the process of myofunctional therapy. She is super knowledgeable! I wanted to start therapy about 6 years ago and finally decided to go for it - and I’m so glad I decided to choose Jackie as my facial therapist. She moves at a pace that works for me and my lifestyle while making adjustments as needed. Jackie also demonstrates each exercise and encourages me to reach out to her anytime - which is super reassuring to know that she’s only a phone call/text away.
