Amazing experience overall. I was recommended to Lakeshore Dental when I broke my tooth and needed to have it extracted. To say I was anxious would be quite an understatement. Everyone in the office is SO kind, patient, and helpful, all the way down to Melissa in billing (I hope she sees this — she’s the best). I had an extraction and an implant here. Both procedures were explained thoroughly (both what would happen and billing) and I was given various options for managing my anxiety throughout the process. For both procedures, I expected to be in a ton of pain, and I did not have any pain at all for either procedure. Maybe I got lucky! But I had my implant placed yesterday, and I didn’t even have to take regular strength advil because I didn’t experience any pain at all. I am moving back to the east coast, but K would travel across the country to get any future work done here. Transparent, kind, and painless. Kudos to Dr. Ephriam and his associates — this place somehow turned a terrifying experience into a very comfortable one.

A year ago, our son had a cavity that progressed to decay, and our regular pediatric dentist placed a crown instead of extracting the tooth. Unfortunately, the tooth became infected, causing him significant pain and swelling. When we took our son back to the dentist, she suggested a root canal and extraction but couldn't fit us into the schedule for a month (apparently due to a shortage of pediatric anesthesiologists). I felt helpless and grew super concerned with the infection leading to more serious complications. I reached out to over 10 dental offices looking for a qualified dentist with anesthesia on-site and finally connected with Dr. Ephraim on a Friday afternoon. I was blown away by his promptness and overall understanding of our situation. He fit us in quickly, scheduling us for early Monday morning before other patients arrive. I can never forget how he helped relieve the suffocation I felt inside, after running into multiple dead ends across the Bay Area. Very good surgeon, but too expensive. This note is to help everyone out there who has a hard time finding out how much does it cost to havd an implant. This dentist charges $205 for an appointment, $135 for 3d xray, and $2649.00 for an implant.
