This place already has many complaints. They should be careful with each patient. One day I was there and a woman arrived, as if she had been left with a piece of her tooth when they extracted it. She arrived in pain. In another case, the anesthesia affected a girl. After having a tooth extracted, she was under observation for many hours. Doctors, check her tools and medications that are not expired. And your workers, who should do everything like professionals, should check this place. Please, the inspectors.

Our family's 20-year loyalty to Dr. Hughes' oral surgery practice in Bakersfield, California was met with an incredibly disappointing ordeal. After an arduous 8-month struggle to secure an appointment for my son's wisdom teeth extractions, we faced a series of mishaps caused by the practice's own errors, including office relocation, mishandled insurance paperwork, and unreturned phone calls. Despite enduring these setbacks, the breaking point came when our eagerly awaited appointment was abruptly canceled, catching us off guard. The reason cited was my inability to answer a phone call during job training, a circumstance beyond my control due to my employer's restrictions. Arriving on time and fully prepared for the procedure, we were shocked to be turned away despite no tardiness on our part. The office's refusal to consider our history of loyalty and reliability was deeply hurtful. It's disheartening that our decades-long commitment, referrals, and consistent adherence to appointments were discarded over a phone call issue, leaving us with a profound sense of disappointment and disillusionment. I got my wisdom teeth taken out here and everyone here was so kind and made me feel like I was in good hands. I didn’t feel anything, they made sure it was a pain free procedure. Of course there is no avoiding the recovery pain, but I feel like this is as good of an experience I could of had getting my wisdom teeth taken out. Thank you so much Dr. Hughes and staff. My husband said I left there saying “I love them so much”, I only remember getting home and falling asleep, but the way they took care of me I have no doubt I said that :)

Dr. Hughes and his staff were amazing. They made everything easy and comfortable for me. Grant was very helpful in assisting me to get in quickly, thank you. Dr. Hughes went over the entire process with me so I knew what to expect, he answered all my questions before I asked. They made me feel safe and in good hands. I was a little sore the next day but felt almost no pain. Thank you very much Dr. Hughes. And thank you for calling to check on me later that evening. Dr. Hughes is a very nice caring man. The whole process was amazing.

I have the highest praise for Dr Hughes and his entire staff. After three major sleep surgeries, I can recommend them without hesitation. Dr. Hughes' attention to client needs, reduction to pain and professionalism are without parallel. They did a great job for me. I recommend you give them a call.
