Dr Esla’s Dental office was pleasant with a lot of ambiance. Quite “Vogue.” If you've got to get drilled, poked, and filled, might as well be in beautiful surroundings. This was my first visit to his office for consultation. The staff appeared to be pleasant and efficient. The staff was professional with good communication. The staff seemed to know their job. On the flip side, the problems I experienced were long wait times. My appt. was at 2pm. However, I was not seen until OVER an hour and a half later. Doctors in general need to understand that patients' time is valuable too. The Dentist spent maybe 15 minutes with me. The office wasn't packed. Therefore, I don't understand the long wait. This was my first visit, and I felt comfortable with the Dentist. He carefully explained the recommended treatment. I was impressed with the options I was given. I was given the financial breakdown of what my out-of-pocket expenses would be. I just marvel at how expensive dental services are despite decent insurance. Dr Elsa is an oral surgeon. The recommended services was crownectomy of the wisdom teeth. I marveled over how the staff rattles off your out-of-pocket expense as though everyone

I needed to have my #16 wisdom tooth removed. From the initial consultation, to the actual procedure, the staff was friendly, courteous, and extremely professional. The procedure was quite quick with no discomfort. They gave me after care procedures to follow and I have a follow-up next week and expect great service again. I highly recommend the Dr. Esla and the establishment.

Dr. Alan Esla and the entire staff at Kern Oral & Facial Surgery have been outstanding throughout my treatment involving tooth #14. From the very beginning, everyone has been professional, communicative, organized, and respectful of my time. Appointments have consistently been on schedule, and every step of the process has been explained clearly and thoroughly. The procedure itself went very smoothly, and the follow-up care has been excellent. Any questions or concerns I had were addressed quickly, which gave me a great deal of confidence and peace of mind throughout the healing process. It’s very clear that Dr. Esla and his team genuinely care about their patients and take pride in the quality of their work. I’m extremely happy with the care I’ve received and would highly recommend Kern Oral & Facial Surgery to anyone needing oral surgery or implant work.

Great experience getting my wisdom teeth removed. They did a great job I think. I have friends whose oral surgeons hit nerves and ended up with bone loss and severe swelling. They do everything fast to prevent feeling nervous. I think within 5 minutes of going back they took the CBCT and hooked me up to all the monitors. Everyone was very nice and caring. Highly recommend them.
