they mistreat the patients there and I visited someone there and they were skipping their meals telling them there’s no more food they need to fire and get new staff hire people who care for sick people. These people are just there for a paycheck and they need to get fired and arrest arrested.

My 37 year daughter was in a severe mental health crisis . The security guard gets involved like a doctor . My daughter had to tell him yes she wanted to go in which is weird . I told the front desk she going to leave not to wait too long to take her through the door . We had two people talk to us during an hour asking about medication why she their saying they going to pick her brain all the way back to a child my daughter became restless was hungary .I told the front desk she going to walk out hurry . I felt they didnt want to deal with it just left us sitting . Yepp she bolted out the door that was it . Why is a security guard involved in patient interaction admitting a patient .Very unprofessional .

Was cornered in the bathroom by two nurses and forced to show them my genitals to confirm I am transgender. Months later and its still bothers me- deeply unprofessional and traumatizing. Are all patients forced to show their privates or just those who are LGBT?

I was there 10 days and ended up becoming deathly ill with c. diff immediately after being discharged. Only hydration is.3 juice.boxes.per.day given at meals. Half the staff literally ignored me as if didnt even exist when i asked for things like water, shoewer supplies, etc... Someone should sue this place. FYI people usually get C Diff from hospitals that aren't properly cleaned. I will give you my lawyers contact information.

A girl kissed me without consent here and the staff dont pay attention to the patients taking food from diabetics. I was a patient with manic bipolar disorder and was refused any of my medication. I am on mood stabilizers and was refused any of it. I am disgusted. Are none of the staff even trained in psychology? You do NOT take a bipolar patient off their mood stabilizers without contacting THEIR psychiatrist. Disgusting.

They make sure you’re well fed but in terms of safety I’m not too sure about that. You get mixed in with a lot of crazies, it was hard for me to not sleep with one eye open. My best advice to you guys is to just behave in the first building assigned to you, so you can eventually be transferred to a more tame/quieter building for your treatment. Floors are also sticky a lot, tables are often sticky. Not the cleanest environment. Beds are uncomfortable and small, and within MY EXPERIENCE some nurses are just there for a check, but there’s always that one bad apple so take that with a grain of salt…

I had multiple encounters with psychiatrist Dr. Medi while receiving care at Doctors Behavioral Health Center. During each of those interactions, her conduct was consistently hostile, unprofessional, and demeaning — but what happened during our very first meeting says it all. The moment I sat down — without saying a word — she looked visibly offended and said, “eww.” I was in a psychiatric emergency, completely vulnerable, and had not even spoken yet. That was her immediate reaction to me. Throughout my care, I was repeatedly met with verbal aggression, inappropriate comments, and emotional hostility. On another visit, she slammed a book down and screamed at me without provocation. Her behavior wasn’t clinical — it was cruel, punitive, and retraumatizing. I was never combative, threatening, or disruptive. I was in clear distress and needed help. Instead, I was made to feel subhuman by someone who is supposed to care for patients in crisis. Dr. Medi’s conduct reflects a gross lack of empathy and professionalism. Her actions fall far below the standard of care expected in any medical setting — particularly in psychiatric care. This facility is ACTIVELY mistreating my partner who is currently hospitalized here and poisoning them as well. My partner had Stephen-Johnson reaction to Keppra 14 months ago due to an apparent allergy and they are forcing them to take Keppra and delegitimizing the seizures being caused by the allergy. I was visiting them last night and the visitation was cut short because of vomiting cause by the medication allergen. This facility does not listen to actual diagnoses.
