I am incredibly frustrated with my experience at the Clinica Sierra Vista on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Back in May, I set up an appointment for today, July 14, specifically to establish a primary care physician. It takes months just to get on their schedule, which is ridiculous enough. When I finally showed up today for the appointment I waited months for, they informed me they had canceled it that morning without even letting me know. They then tried to 'fix' their mistake by fitting me in with a walk-in doctor. I don't need a walk-in doctor; I needed the primary care physician I specifically scheduled. I sat there for an hour before going up to the front desk to ask how much longer it would be. The receptionist casually advised me that the doctor was running over an hour behind, so it would be at least another hour before I was seen because I was now considered a 'walk-in.' I wouldn't have been a walk-in if they hadn't canceled my appointment without warning! The indifference and complete lack of organization here is appalling. If you have any other option for healthcare in Bakersfield, take it. Save yourself the headache and the wasted months.

I have had nothing but problems from records being provided by office they refills on acyclivor. . Could never see a doctor only nurses. left this place

Waited for 2 and a half hours to be verbally abused by nurse practitioner Kanavalov. Not even a doctor and she thinks she can talk crazy to patients who are in pain made worse from sitting in those chairs for hours after their appointment time. Asked me "you seem upset. Are you sure you want to continue with this appointment?" Yes B, I am upset and I have every right to be frustrated. For all that time wasted, I did not even recieve care. I have filed a complaint against her with my insurance company and bank in regards to the copay. I encourage others to do the same. It is absolutely crazy that these people are who we rely on for health and wellness.

I was suggested this location because I could get an appointment here a bit quicker than 34th st. As a result, I met my primary, Dr. Elisa Gonzalez De Los Santos. Amazing lady. Very kind. Made me feel a lot more comfortable. Took me seriously and made something tough for me a lot easier to deal with. Exceptional doctor. Above and beyond. Thank you Doctor.

Nursing staff wearing the Clinica Sierra Vista uniforms came into my work for lunch and were extremely rude and unprofessional. Even when off of work or out for lunch, when wearing your uniform you are representing the company you work for. They had no manners and tried to rush staff throughout their interaction. They sat and took their time eating like they were in no actual rush, but wanted to be snappy with staff. I believe it was their manager or higher up, Laura Dominguez, that was talking to us disrespectfully and brushing us off. Rethink visiting Clinica Serra Vista. If they can’t even be nice to restaurant staff, how will they treat you?
