I had bad experience from the doctor office. He over charged to my insurance in 2020. I had two insurances, the office chose the highest quote. Two insurances had covered all my balance. The office still charged me ahead of my first visit and refused for refund. I had to ask help from my insurance and involved to get my money back. The doctor office said the doctor will issue the refund but remind me the doctor worked hard and deserved to have money if you want to donate to him. This year, I have another tooth and would like to make an appointment with the office. The lady asked my information then put me on hold. Later on the phone was hung up by office. Since then they never answered my calls anymore. I don’t think they care about patients but money.

We never had the chance to actually meet Dr. Chang. This review is directed towards his office staff. I called to schedule an appointment and was told by Jennifer that she needed to check my insurance before scheduling my appointment. I 100% understood, this is regular practice everywhere you go. I told her my husband was in a lot of pain and needed to be seen as soon as possible. Jennifer asked what was my availability. I said whenever you have time to see my husband he will be there as he is in pain and needs a root canal done as soon as possible. She said she was sorry but they didn't have anything today. She then said she still had to check the insurance and would call me back. 2 hours later I called the office back to find out Jennifer was on lunch. She would be back at 2 pm. Jennifer did call me back at about 2:15. Still no insurance information. She said the hold time was for 1.5 hours to speak to someone from my insurance. Ok, it's now been almost 3 hours and you still don't have the information. Then she said my copay would be about $300. And my insurance would pay the rest. So I said I don't understand, did you talk to my insurance? She put me on hold then hung up on me.

Dr Andy Chang and his staff made me feel so comfortable. I was having a panic attack and they literally made me feel like family. Calmed me down and gave me lots of positive reinforcements. I had to get 2 root canals and they got it done so fast and he was so effective! I fell asleep!!! Definitely recommend

Had the most bizarre, nonsensical "Alice in Wonderland" experience with Chang today. He is not my primary dentist, but has worked on several of my teeth in the past. I was having pain with a tooth he worked on (upper left side) so I called to make an appointment, as my primary doesn't do rootcanals. For some BIZARRE reason, Chang and his office refused to see me because they insisted my pain was on the upper RIGHT side, on a tooth they never worked on (even though I repeatedly told them in was the LEFT). After going back and forth for hours, they finally agreed to examine the tooth (for a $100) but insisted that Chang wouldn't work on it because he had never worked on the UPPER RIGHT TOOTH (again, after I had explained 14 times that it was an UPPER LEFT tooth he had already worked on). I really believe they thought I was lying for some inexplicable reason. After clearing my schedule for the afternoon, they called and changed the appointment time, moving it back 1.5 hours (after I had canceled meetings for the afternoon). It was at this point that I lost all confidence in Chang and was afraid he might wind up performing a rootcanal on the wrong tooth. Needless to say, I WON'T B

I missed 1 appointment over a year ago and they refuse to help me and when I showed up you lied about it saying you didnt have me scheduled wow.
