Amazing professors and affordable tuition. I am so glad that I picked this program for my CMHC MS degree.

It’s about a 20% pass rate. Back in the day they used to be really good. They needed to have data for success rates. I think becomes been sitting around long, they lost sight of their initial vision. Tuition of course has gone up and they still offer financial payment plans, that helps, but idk if it’s really worth it. You have to be self motivated, self learner, self taught, and somehow pass exams that you may not have taught yourself. There are some professors who care and are personable, but other you will find it’s like a nail to your heart. You may have to take out an extra loan to retake some classes. It’s definitely not an easy process overall. General life setbacks can prolong the process as well. You have a set timeline to follow and when we get so excited to get started we fail to remember the mishaps in life. I wish they would return back to their hard core values of making sure student graduate, but I think the goal now is financial gain.

I would not recommend this school to anybody. The dean does not value any feedback from students. Professors also are not helpful specifically in the OBGYN class where majority of the students are failing and dropping the class due to the lack of support from the professor. This is not what I expected from this school considering the amount of money I have spent. What West Coast is doing to their students is despicable.

New students BEWARE of professor Martin. There are only 2 teachers teaching Med Surge 1 and the other professor's class is always full. Professor Martin or is she actually a real proffesor. A professor should teach and ensure her students succeed yet she finds pleasure in failing her students. You are there to teach the lesson you were hired and PAID to do. Students pay your salary! If students don't register for the university there is no money to pay teachers! Someone needs to check for nepotism. I don't understand how she is still working at the university. She must be related to someone. There is no way she is an accredited instructor.

Review for West Coast University At first, West Coast University appears very welcoming. They constantly follow up with you, show their best behavior, and work hard to ensure you enroll as a student. However, once tuition is received, the experience changes completely. After that, students are often met with disappointing and unprofessional behavior. Issues such as racism, discrimination, and lack of respect for students’ voices become clear. The university asks for student feedback at the end of each course, but if you provide an honest, low rating, they start making excuses and may eventually push you out of the program. It feels like students only have value as long as they agree with the school’s system and courses. If you express disagreement or dissatisfaction, you risk being treated unfairly. Overall, West Coast University seems more focused on appearances and collecting tuition than truly valuing students’ education and feedback.
