Dr. Yu is a wonderful dentist. He helped me with couple emergency issues & saved my implant! I really appreciate his help.

My splint for my loose tooth needed repair, and Dr Yu repaired it immediately. He spent a lot of time fixing it and did an incredible job. I thought the tooth needed extraction, but he saved it for me. I have another tooth that is a little loose also, which he worked on, and it is also doing better. I will need one or two implants eventually, and I truly appreciate his efforts in delaying the inevitable. At least now I can avoid getting an implant for a few years if lucky. I rarely leave reviews, but I think he went above and beyond for me.

Dr. Yu is the third periodontist that I have visited. I have been suggesting to have gum graft by the first two periodontists that I visited. To be honest, I don't know the real reasons until my general dentist asked me to visit Dr. Yu. Per my general dentist, Dr. Yu is very conservative person. He only suggests gum graft whenever it is needed. During my visit, Dr. Yu did very thorough inspections/examinations, and concluded that in general my teeth are healthy but indeed have gum recession problem. Only If I have the concern of the appearance, graft might help. He also mentioned gum graft might not sustain for years given my age (50+). All in all, Dr. Yu gave me all information from different aspects (appearance, culture, age, etc..) and let me make the final decision although the implication from him is "no need". I think Dr. Yu is a honest and deliberate doctor that you can consider to take the second opinion or third opinion like me.

Dr. Yu is wonderful. He fixed a root canal for me with an intense surgery but saved my tooth. He also pulled it for me 5 years later. Now in the process of contacting him foe an implant! Highly recommend he is kind, efficient, clean, and knows what he is doing. He is honest and not trying to rip you off like some other places do!

If you take reviews seriously I must let you know - This Dr. and Staff (Marianne, Elle, and Jaclyn) are the ones to go to. I can not stress enough of how good and receptive they are about listening to you and trying to make you feel comfortable. I hated to get my teeth cleaned - since I had very Bad gums and they were very sensitive. Well since I have not got a cleaning in like 10 years! So, I am on it now. And with fact he listens to you, tries to work your insurance, and is really concerned about your Dental Health. He actually made me feel comfortable. The staff is so accommodating with what type of music you want played, always asking if you can feel any pain, and they also explain any and all procedures to you. They show you the X-rays, pictures and tools. Anything and Everything you can ask about. The office and Dental Areas are Very clean and organized. The Staff, very professional and attentive - very personable. He has a Parking spot you can use with out having to park in the lot. But even then, they validate - so you pay nothing. I have been there for 4-5 hours getting my teeth cleaned. and still not have to pay anything. I have made him my go to guy for any Dental issue
