Compared with UCLA School of Dentistry, UC Davis pre-dental feels painfully unimpressive and overmarketed. UCLA Dentistry has real professional weight: serious clinical training, respected faculty, strong patient-care exposure, research depth, and a reputation connected to actual dental excellence. It feels like a place where competence, discipline, and clinical maturity matter. UC Davis pre-dental, by contrast, can feel like a paper-performance machine: GPA protection, résumé polishing, recommendation chasing, club-title collecting, shadowing checkboxes, and nonstop nonsense chasing instead of real professional growth. In my opinion, some applicants may look polished on paper while seeming incapable of showing the deeper qualities dentistry actually requires: judgment, hand skills, ethics, communication, pressure tolerance, and patient-centered responsibility. The UC name may make the package look respectable, but branding is not the same as readiness. A clean transcript, rehearsed interview answers, and inflated recommendations should not be confused with real ability. UCLA should not be impressed by UC Davis packaging alone. I’ve been going to UCLA School of Dentistry for treatment for about the last 18 months. The quality of work done is excellent . I’ve needed quite a lot of work done on my teeth and was impressed with the care given by student dentist Medina Kerdjani. I believe she just graduated. I highly recommend UCLA School of Dentistry.

Very professional and caring team. The student dentist and supervising doctors took time to carefully evaluate my tooth pain and explained everything clearly. I had a great experience at the UCLA AEGD Clinic with Dr. Tejitha Ambati. She was professional, kind, and took the time to explain everything clearly during my visit. I appreciated how patient and attentive she was, which made me feel comfortable and well cared for throughout the appointment. The staff was also welcoming and organized, and the clinic maintained a clean and professional environment. I’m very thankful for the care I received and would definitely recommend this clinic to others looking for quality dental care.

I really love this place, all the doctors and students are very attentive to me and you can tell they genuinely care about the success of my treatment and are doing the best they can! I am very grateful to everyone who works here — the attitude toward patients is very polite and caring. The prices are also quite affordable, especially compared to regular dental clinics.
