I paid $250 for a comprehensive periodontal evaluation, and unfortunately I left feeling extremely disappointed with both the examination and the way my concerns were handled. I was referred here because I had several specific periodontal/cosmetic concerns that I wanted evaluated. I explained that I have dental tori and an area of gum tissue that hangs down between my front teeth, and that my goal was to find out whether the tissue could be contoured so that my gumline would look more even before having my bonding corrected. Instead of really discussing that concern with me and helping me understand my options, the conversation kept being redirected back to getting a deep cleaning and seeing my general dentist first. When I asked about removing the excess gum tissue, I was told that if she removed it, I would be left with a large space because there currently is not bonding underneath that area. I understood that explanation, but that was exactly why I continued asking whether the logical sequence would be to remove/contour the gum tissue first and then have my general dentist place the bonding afterward to close and shape the area properly. Dr. Affrunti and her staff are amazing. Extremely friendly both over the phone and in person. I was referred here by my dentist for a frenectomy. The process was smooth, comfortable, and quick. I had no issues getting timely appointments, and the office is extremely clean and inviting. In terms of the procedure itself, I was pleasantly surprised. I am a wuss when it comes to dental, and was extremely nervous for the procedure. Dr. Affrunti calmed my nerves and made sure I was comfortable, and handled it quickly. I didn’t feel a thing with her gentle approach, and was in and out in under 30 minutes. The procedure itself took less than 10 minutes. I recently had oral surgery at Town Center Periodontal and the procedure was very well done. The staff and Periodontist are very professional and welcoming. The procedure itself was super quick and they made sure I was not uncomfortable or in pain.

This is a great staff. Everyone is so friendly and greets you with a 😃. Oscar, the Hygienist was great! He explained the benefits of using a waterpik coupled with flossing is a game changer and will stop bleeding gums.
