I went with my two parents and it was an amazing experience the doctor was very detailing about my teeth and what was wrong she made me comfortable and she explained what is wrong with my teeth turns out I have to get my teeth pulled and she made it very understanding that it will not hurt so I give this sugar bugs a five-star because all kids should have someone to go to be comfortable with someone dealing with their teeth

I have been taking my 4-year-old son to Sugar Bug since he was just one year old. We initially visited the Camarillo office but were later switched to the Oxnard location. During our last two visits, my son was not very cooperative, which made the appointments a bit challenging. However, at his dental cleaning this past Friday, I was extremely impressed with Mona. She made him feel comfortable from beginning to end. She involved him by letting him help “build” the toothbrush and other tools, which really helped ease his nerves. She also took her time while brushing his teeth—counting to three and giving him breaks when needed. At the end of the visit, she even offered to put super cute tattoos on his arms, which he loved. The doctor we saw that day was wonderful as well. I left the office feeling very impressed and genuinely happy with the care my son received. It was truly a 10/10 experience.

I love this place for my kids. They always make the happy or stop crying to make them feel better. But they do not answer the phones when you call them or to reschedule the appointment or change anything on my kids account to give them up dates no phone back at all or anything not even the reschedule department either to answer the phones calls either.

Brought our toddler for the third time. All 3 times it’s been an amazing experience. Most recent visit we had the pleasure of meeting Mona and she really made his experience a positive one. I really appreciated the way she approached him and made sure he was comfortable. Highly recommend.

I love the staff at sugar bug dental! Tooth brushing is hard enough, but we do our best. Going to the dentist was always moans and groans, fake coughing, and a lot of false promises to brush better. The staff at Sugarbug really helped change that, and I’m so grateful. Attitude is half the battle. Being welcoming, encouraging, and supportive makes a huge difference. Everyone we’ve seen has helped win the battle. They teach the kids to do better. It makes brushing & flossing less “because I told you too”, and more empowering. I hope everyone gets this experience for their kids! 💯recommend!
