In Houston, urgent care centers are busiest on weekends and evenings when doctors' offices are closed, and most post their wait times online. Across Texas, primary care practices often have a waitlist for new patients, so establishing care before you need it saves time. For a dental emergency outside office hours, an urgent care center can prescribe antibiotics and pain relief but cannot fix the tooth; a hospital emergency room can treat swelling that affects breathing or swallowing. Check the listing for insurance, hours and whether telehealth visits are offered.

Hours are published for 6 days a week. On most of those days it is open 8 am–5 pm. It is closed on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach SBCHC - Pitner Clinic at (713) 462-6545; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Houston is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Houston follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

This was my first time at this clinic, and although it’s a little bit of a drive from where I live, the experience exceeded my expectations! From the receptionist to the medical assistant and Dr. Ross, the service was excellent from start to finish. Everyone was welcoming, professional, and kind, and most importantly, my son felt completely comfortable. I was so impressed with the experience that I’ve already scheduled my daughter to see Dr. Ross at this location as well. It’s definitely worth the drive! Thank you to the entire team for such an amazing experience! ❀️

We have a sliding scale fee with the clinic but I don’t think is worth it mainly because only 1 out of 10 doctors are good with clinic. Dr Billy Marsh is not very attentive and doesn’t talk much about the problem at hand and always seems to be in a rush. After paying $30 copay and getting nothing out of the visit is insane.. this is just sad and medical treatment should be treated with decency not urgency to let the patient out. Very disappointing

My 1st time at this clinic. The staff was super nice. Very attentive and very helpful. Dr. Marsh conducted himself in a very professional manner. I would definitely refer this clinic to family and friends.

Today I took my granddaughter for her one year vaccinations. Dr Taylor (from the beginning) was very welcoming, attentive, informative and asked questions, plus gave us very great advice for our little one. It's always great to know there's doctors that truly care for their patients ❀️ Keep up the OUTSTANDING service you provide ❀️

I personally think this clinic is pretty darn good. It gets a bad rep because of the location and the fact there is a WIC office right next to it in the same lobby. Don’t believe the bs. The staff is always great and Billy Marsh is the kind of specialists I’d prefer to have on my team. I’ve personally never had an issue coming here. If you’r looking for a community clinic to fill your medical needs give the Pitner Clinic Community Health Center a shot.
