Having nothing but a horrible experience with this medical group. I’ve gotten a referral for an obgyn, I call to make an appointment and the soonest they can get me in is August. I try and call the canyon location to speak to someone I can never get to a live person. You leave voicemails and NEVER receive a call back. I then have reached out to Isidore who mentioned maybe a male provide would have an earlier appointment frame. I had missed the call being at work, I’ve left 4-5 messages to get a change or referral and no one is returning my calls. Why is it so hard to get a hold of someone!

I had a great experience at this center! My insurance had expired and they were patient with me as I called to figure out what happened. They honored my 2pm appointment, even though I was on the phone for half an hour. The receptionists were both super patient and helpful, and my nurse was kind and attentive. The NP I saw really listened when I explained my symptoms and ordered all the tests I requested. Overall, I felt validated and heard at this center and I will be returning!

I wish I could review the actual medical care here, but I can't even get an appointment! I'm a new patient. I've called three separate times on two different days during open hours. I've left voicemails, never called back. The one time I did get through I was put on hold after giving my info and they promptly forgot about me for ten minutes until I tried to call back, only to be told no staff were available. I see there are some good reviews of medical staff here, but the front office is an obstacle to accessing that care. Edit: I changed to three stars after calling their Val Verde location and they got me through to someone at the CC office. Got appointment. It is possible, it just take some extra effort.

This is the worst place to go to do not go here. They missuse your information violating HIPAA, and when you call to delete your information, they refuse to do it unless your deceased. Even when you sign in on the paperwork, it says you’re able to opt out and they still refuse. You have no privacy here, Read what you’re Signing. Waited months for nothing also. They are not qualified to do anything in this office. They also ask if you want to see a doctor or a nurse I said Doctor they don’t listen to you. Complete waste of time

I have been a patient at Samuel Dixon Family Health Center for years. While there have been occasional changes in staff during this time, Medical Assistants Jessica and Sofia have remained a constant. I’ve been experiencing a busy couple of years (health wise) and have been in contact with them on a regular basis. When I call, my needs are met with urgency. Their professionalism and communication is top tier, as is their compassion. Kudos to both of these ladies for going above and beyond- particularly coming from a woman who calls often and is treated with nothing but kindness and respect in return. Speaking of kindness and respect, my Primary Provider Katrina, exudes a level of empathy that I have not experienced from any previous provider. Katrina listens in a way that really makes you feel both seen and heard. I have been in a vulnerable state lately and have never felt judged. She is solution based. Her knowledge of everything I’ve come to her with is impressive. She breaks things down in a way that’s easy for me to understand. She is quick to get necessary referrals sent in, as well as medication. Ladies, your consistent calm and patient demeanor, makes my otherwise overwh
