Dr. Stampe was so helpful with my TMJ. She took a lot of time to asses my symptoms and walked me through the plan along with additional options to try if I wanted /depending on the results I was seeing. I didn’t end up needing any of them because it worked so well! Thanks to Dr. Stampe and her team, I found out that I have mild sleep apnea (apparently common with TMJ). When I came to see her, my jaw was locked and could not open fully, I was chewing on one side to lessen the pain, and had headaches that lasted for days. Not only are all of those issues gone, I’m sleeping better, have more energy, and I was given exercises to keep my jaw more loose even after the appointments. Leanne was great with all the insurance and billing side, making it easy to understand and answering all my questions. Sandra was very thorough tracking my progress, administering my laser treatments, and adjusting my oral appliance along the way. They all followed up and communicated regularly. Overall I had a great experience with great results and would recommend Dr. Stampe & team to anyone dealing with jaw pain!

I cannot express how life-changing my care at Richardson Sleep and Facial Pain Center has been. 7 months ago, I walked into the practice, without an appointment, knowing no one. I had been at a dentist office in the area for a routine cleaning and my jaw locked. I was in extreme pain and needed help ASAP. I was welcomed in, set up my first appointment, and then my TMJ treatment journey began. I had been in a car wreck 2 years prior and had been dealing with a progressively worse TMJ issue due to the dislocated jaw, month after month. I experienced extreme headaches that never went away, ringing in my ears, pain when eating, talking, and even singing in the shower. 😁 The pain began radiating down my neck into my shoulder. I couldn't find relief. I was trying Advil and Tylenol for pain, but nothing was working. The thing I appreciate most about my treatment, was the drug free approach.
