My family and I have been seeing Dr. Martenson and her team at Piedmont Dental by Design for several years, and I can honestly say every visit leaves me wanting to write a five-star review, so this is long overdue! We were first introduced to Dr. Martenson through a referral from a sibling during a dental emergency over Thanksgiving many years ago. While others were unavailable for the holiday, Dr. Martenson took the time to speak with a family member while he was in pain and offered thoughtful guidance when he needed it most. That level of care speaks to Dr. Martenson's dedication to her practice and made a lasting impression on us. Since then, Piedmont Dental has been our go-to for everything, from routine cleanings to fillings and complex crown work. The entire team is wonderful. Lee'Lannee is a ray of light and has been by Dr. Martenson’s side for years. She makes every visit feel like visiting an old friend. Christine is always warm and welcoming as the perfect first point of contact when you walk in. Elaina in billing is incredibly helpful and always works with clients to provide flexibility. I’ve been a longtime dental patient of Dr. Ma in San Francisco and now happily travel to Piedmont to continue my care with him. And his new team is just as impressive—welcoming, professional, and caring. Dr. Ma is thoughtful, thorough, and someone I trust completely with my dental care. Kelley was very thorough but gentle and kind. Dr Martenson was friendly and thorough as usual. They and the whole team make dental visits pleasant! Have done so for years.

We've been going to Piedmont for many years. They're honest, quick and professional. They don't try to upsell and they track your progress over time. Definitely trust them and recommend them. There's a small parking garage underneath but you will likely have to find street parking around the corner off of Grand avenue.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Jill Martenson for over 30 years, and I have always been treated with the highest level of respect and care. Dr. Martenson, and the entire team are incredibly smart, professional, and genuinely dedicated to their patients. They even follow up after major dental work, which shows how much they truly care. I saw Dr. Filippo Cangini today for periodontal care, and he was just as exceptional—thorough, gentle, and very reassuring. After three decades, I can confidently say this is a dental team you can trust. Outstanding care every time.
