My adult son has been with People's Care for over a year now, so I wanted to write a review for other special needs parents or family members to share the experience we have had so far. My son was transitioning from an educational program to an adult based program. Because he was always anxious around others, we wanted a program that had a strong community outing based focus. People's Care was one of the adult programs we considered, and I can tell you that the experience we've had has been great. Everyday is a new adventure for my son. Going to the mall, parks, gym, and shops, just to name a few, keeps him wanting to go everyday. He no longer feels anxious around others. His one to one aids have always been wonderful. They are very patient and accommodating to my son's individual needs. Everyone from the supervisor to the drivers has always been very kind as well. We're hoping for many more years of care from them.

My daughter Erika loves to go to the People’s Care Day Program. The staff are so friendly and supportive. They understand each client’s different needs. The facility is huge and clean, lots of activities available to each client. Erika loves to go to YMCA gym, volunteer work at the Food Bank, cooking class, or various community fairs and events. And of course Birthday Parties too! Recently there was a Baby Shower party for one of the staff. I loved that idea. The program is almost like a Big Family! Those are great experience and social training for my daughter. Director Leah is so creative in planning activities for the clients every month. I love to talk and communicate with her because she is always open to families. That is very important for parents of adult child with special needs. The director’s positive attitude makes the staff and whole program keep going to the right and bright direction! Thank you Leah and all the Staff!🩷
