Initial visits I was informed my child would need several crowns. I was told she would need 2 extractions. The next visit I was told she needed more crowns than before & also one extraction. The first treatment plan was now different than the second. During that second visit I was told my child needed these extra crowns because of what could possible happen with future cavities. I was also instructed the reason all these crowns was needed was due to my child’s age and it not being safe for her to be put under GA multiple times. Fast forward to scheduling the procedure I am now being told the dr said she CAN be placed under GA and there are no concerns with how many times she can be placed under GA. Keep in mind my child is 5 and is already scheduled to be under GA which I then expressed my concerns for that. Was told don’t worry it’s fine. When I asked why was I told in the beginning that it was dangerous and now being told that it’s okay and perfectly fine. Despite my child’s pediatrician advising that GA for a child DOES pose a risk to the child and the frequency of it as well. Upon me asking these questions the lady I was speaking to changed her tone and because very rude. When

As a dentist myself, I really appreciate how great Dr. Paul Johnson, Pediatric Dentistry of Sacramento is. The staff is always kind, friendly, and wonderful with my kids. They make every visit smooth and comfortable. I trust them completely and highly recommend them.

Hello, I had a wonderful experience with Pediatric Sacramento Dentistry during my son’s dental treatment under general anesthesia. From the very beginning, the entire process was handled with exceptional professionalism, care, and attention to detail. Dr. Paul Johnson, met with us several times before and after the procedure to carefully explain every step of the treatment and answer all of our questions. The anesthesiologist also took the time to thoroughly explain the anesthesia process, making sure we understood everything and felt comfortable. Their clear communication and patience gave us complete confidence and peace of mind. The entire team worked together seamlessly. Everyone was kind, organized, and genuinely cared about my son’s well-being before, during, and after the procedure. At no point did I feel uncertain or worried because they kept us informed every step of the way. Most importantly, I can already see the excellent quality of the dental work on my son’s teeth. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Hearn and the care he provided for my toddler son today. I went in feeling extremely stressed and worried, but he immediately put me at ease. He took the time to explain everything clearly and thoroughly, which made such a difference in how I felt throughout the visit. His calm, caring approach and patience with my son truly stood out. It’s not easy trusting someone with your child’s dental work, but I left feeling reassured and grateful. This is the first time at this location. Very nice office. My 3 year old loves that she can watch a movie during treatment. Today she came in for a quick visit and RDA Liz saw her today. You can tell Liz has worked with kids for awhile. My daughter was very relaxed with her, she did refuse treatment for a moment but Liz knew exactly what to do. Everyone we have met so far has been great and I would recommend this office to anyone looking for a great pediatric dentist.
