I had a root canal done by Dr. Okada. He left some access material in my canal, which I understand can happen, yet this led to complications. When I went back to him to have the material removed, he explained that he could not do that procedure and proceeded to give me a grave and essentially bogus diagnosis. He showed me pictures in his very old medical book which I could not decipher at all due to its old age. I made an appointment with a different endodontist who basically had to do a second root canal. I had to pay for it out of pocket a second time around. I asked for my money back from Dr. Okada's office yet he/they never responded. It was overall a very difficult and painful experience on many levels. Unfortunately, I had to pay a high price for my visit.

I had an appointment on 12/30 and was asked to sign a form that says l'd pay everything upfront(even though I have great insurance with 100% coverage). I told the receptionist Theresa I wasn't comfortable doing that and she was incredibly rude saying I had to. I said no because it's 100% covered and she rolled her eyes and said "no that's never the case." I said it was and gave her my insurance info to check. While she's on the phone with my insurance company she was saying things like "so she doesn't have to pay anything??" "Okay then fax me the information" in a demanding tone I felt bad for the person on the other line. Theresa was almost disgusted that 1. Her rudeness was clearly wrong and 2. I have great insurance and didn't have to pay anything. Even though they confirmed on the phone which is why she called, she still had me wait 40 mins later for them to fax. I felt so uncomfortable I just told her l'd rather go somewhere else. So sad they have someone like this dealing with patients. I hear the doctor himself is nice so it's a huge shame their receptionist doesn't like people or her job. Hope you heal, Theresa.

I am in the middle of my third root canal with Dr. Okada, and , I never thought I would say this, but; what an absolute pleasure it is to have work done here! Dr. Okada is amazing! I have/had zero pain or complications in his chair. I have actually fallen asleep during the procedure. His nurse was a great, and his office practices are the best. You deserve the best. Call Dr. Okada.

Amazing Dr. He analyzes and never rushes into a treatment. He is reasonable with his charges and the best thing in my book, NO PAIN. I have had 4 root canals with him on different teeth. Highly recommend!!

Amazing dentist! I think he only does root canals. My dentist referred him to me after having five root canals on the same tooth and they couldn't fix it. This dentist was able to fix it! Sometimes a little bit hard to get in because he's also a professor of dentistry and pretty busy.
