Immediately upon entering reception, I was bombarded with bright, colorful images of ice cream cones and posters that announced National Ice Cream Day with freeze dried ice cream sandwiches on offer. We were surprised and found them to be delicious and I thought to myself "Here is a dentist that likes to have fun!" While having fun, Dr. Sheehan has established a practice that commands excellence in every aspect. For example, everyone in the office is networked to each other via wireless headsets to enable a shared rapid response when needed. Julie, my dental hygienist, described each action she performed in advance while completing a very thorough examination and cleaning. I noted that she responded to all my questions with research-based science. It was obvious to me that Julie strives to provide a gold standard experience for all her patients. Finally, Dr. Sheehan completed the session with an in-depth examination and recommendations for improved dental self care. I told Dr. Sheehan that based on the innovation, thoroughness and detailed approach of her office, I was totally confident in every aspect of service provided at Oakland Family Dental. I called Oakland Family Dental from the parking lot of my dentist office in pain and tears. I had a molar that had to be removed and frankly my dentist was zero help. Not only would he not touch it, but he would not help me get an appointment elsewhere. It was a pat on the back and good luck. Without hesitation the team at Oakland Family Dental told to come in. Upon arrival I explained I did not have insurance. They were booked that afternoon but took my case on, worked with me on payment, and comforted me through out the entire process. The tooth was extracted and healed well. I learned they offer sedation and work with special needs children and adults. They are kind, fair and VERY good at what they do. I am beyond grateful for their care. Without hesitation it was a 5 star experience (and I HATE having anything done to my teeth.) THANK YOU OAKLAND DENTAL!

You all are the absolute best; extremely professional. Your atmosphere alone is so comforting and full of life. You ALL represent the true meaning of TEAMWORK! Your chain has no weak links from start to finish. Dr. Amanda you went far beyond what I anticipated and for that I am truly grateful. I REFUSE TO QUIT SMILING!

From start to finish everything was very smooth. The staff are amazing and treated me like a family there. I am pregnant and they were so gentle and caring to me. Dr. Sheehan was incredible, very professional and made feel so comfortable during my tooth extraction. She was so chill and I love that. They all did a wonderful job and I am totally gonna recommend this to my friends and family. Thank you Oakland Family Dental!

The best dentist ever. I love Oakland family Dental because everyone that works here has a passion for dentistry and the love for helping others achieve the smile of their dreams. Dr. Sheehan uses advanced technology in her office and educates her patients to help them feel at ease and relaxed throughout their dental work. She is passionate, kind, and loves what she does, which makes me love coming here as a patient. The office is Beautiful and there is always a holiday they are celebrating. When you walk in you feel welcomed and like family. When I got my cleaning here it was the best cleaning ever by Julie, she did a very thorough job. I’m very happy with this practice.
