It was my first time being in there.I was scared , frightened worried I was on the end of losing my apartment, my son smokey being honest with you I don't have any family here in Amarillo Texas. I really didn't want to lose either of them considering that my first apartment by myself, my motion support son smokey. It better myself made me stronger plus I made a lot of great people trust me I wouldn't want to come back it was the best strength ive ever had. Thank you

Send your loved ones here to be dehumanized, drugged, and lose all of their rights as a human being. Which is funny because they have a list of rights on the wall as a slap in the face. Funnily enough multiple patients expressed they were getting paid to stay there during my time which explains the very misleading positive reviews! I was told multiple times to stop talking about Jesus while I was there, held there against my will and was abused in the hospital across the street prior to being committed there. Tried to call a lawyer and was denied the ability to do so multiple times. I was kept there for 10 days until I admitted it was my fault and that I did not see what I saw. One positive thing I can say is that they allow you to go outside for about a half hour each day.

Very good people at the pavilion. It takes a special kind of person to help people like me without getting angry at my stupidity. The first 5 days suck. After that my medicine had started working. Smooth sailing after that ! I like it hahaha .

On February 26, 2026 I self checked into this facility and stayed here for 5 days to get the assistance I needed to help with Depression. My sincerest appreciation to the Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Counselors, Cooks, other Patients, and the Doctors. Sometimes it is necessary to disconnect from the outside World and the stress associated with daily life to find inner peace. I was treated with value and respect and my mental health was prioritized. I got three daily meals, participated in various groups where every patient's situation was embraced and valued, and I was advised of the medications I was prescribed. I also interacted well with other patients during my stay and rediscovered my artistic abilities. KUDOS to the Music Therapist, McKenna, for her ability to incorporate the humanistic side of each patient into her group sessions. I Highly recommend this facility to anyone in need of help with their mental health. You will definitely get the treatment and after care that you need. BRAVO and THANK YOU!!!

You can't give this place any stars worst place anybody could be put in they lie you have nurses that think they are lawyers it is nasty the links they have for you to put your personal belongings in while you go back there to see your loved 1 key fits all the locks we found this out when we watched 3 cc different people open up wrong locks because aris was one of them, and we was sitting there when they opened it we have legal guardianship over in adult, and they want to act like that them. Papers meant nothing. I would recommend people go anywhere besides that place.They need to go to oceans in Amarillo or Lubbock it took me 3 weeks to get a doctor to call me I guess that's how long it took them to put in her chart that was the first time the doctor had seen it and we don't even want to go there on the bathroom that we had to use i don't even think I would let my dog go to the bathroom in there not a clean place at all even the day I got her out one of the workers up front told me that them papers.I had for legal guardianship, didn't mean nothing someone should get a lawyer on that place or the state

It was a bit disappointing. Intake therapist told me I’d be getting one on one therapy and and group therapy with meaning. I only got one on one time once and it was the same exact questions I had during intake and did not seem very therapeutic. It was coloring and listening to music. One was ok talking about boundaries but did not seem very therapeutic. We were not allowed to have outside time and there wasn’t even windows to look outside. We did not receive recreational time at all during my 3 day stay. We stayed in the big room with chairs 90% of the time which can be quite depressing. My only good experience was Dr. Garcia. He was very kind, practical, and helped me with meds drastically. He is great. Staffing was very nice to everyone. I feel as this is a place for growth and didn’t seem to have much opportunity to get better there. I was told I could be there only for 3-4 days to figure out medications and on my paper said 8-12 days. I had to request to be released due to poor quality of therapy. Definitely grateful for this opportunity to heal and figure out medication, but still disappointed in the quality.

Worst experience of my life. They don’t treat you like you’re even human in this place. If you want mental health services, do NOT check yourself in here. They also stole/lost my wedding ring while I was there and have not returned my property and have not taken responsibility for it going missing.

Dr Camacho and his amazing staff worked wonders for me. Liz was cool I am still sober and clean had such a better time recovering than I did with oceans completely opposite. I loved all the groups the intense meds really works the food was amazing 👏 🤩 Snacks and coffee ☕️ at all times. Loved music groups will not forget what this place has done for me. I stayed in Amarillo since then getting on my feet gradually have a job and getting back on track.
