I've been going to this office for about two years now, and I truly couldn't be happier that I found them. I have pretty severe dental anxiety, and every single person here has made such a difference. Jill, the first face you see, is one of the kindest, most compassionate people you'll ever meet. She immediately puts you at ease and makes every visit feel comfortable. She has such an amazing presence, never makes you feel rushed or judged, and genuinely cares about how you're doing. She goes above and beyond to make sure you're comfortable, and I honestly can't say enough wonderful things about her. The entire team is warm, welcoming, and genuinely cares about their patients. Dr. Ortega is exceptional—professional, thorough, and always takes the time to explain everything, which has completely changed how I feel about going to the dentist. I never thought I'd actually look forward to dental appointments, but this office has made that possible. I recommend them to everyone I know. If you're looking for a dentist for anything—from routine cleanings to more involved dental work—you won't find a better team!

Dr. Ortega is hands down the best dentist I’ve ever had. He is incredibly patient, kind, and has a great sense of humor that helps put you at ease. He takes the time to explain everything, never makes you feel rushed, and truly cares about his patients’ comfort throughout the entire visit. As someone who doesn’t find dental appointments easy, I can’t say enough about how much I appreciate his calm, compassionate approach. He has earned my complete trust, which is something I never thought I’d say about a dentist! The entire office is friendly and professiona 👋Hi Jill!! 👋, and the level of care is exceptional. I recommend Dr. Ortega to everyone I know. If you’re looking for a dentist who is not only highly skilled but also genuinely cares about his patients, you won’t find anyone better.

Great experience! Marcos is a true professional. I just had my second visit and could not be happier with the service and results. Marcos is knowledgeable, honest, and extremely professional. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a competent dentist.

I loathe dentists. I had terrible experiences with them growing up and I absolutely stay away from them. When I have to go, I am a pile of tears and anxiety. I would rather deal with intense pain in my mouth than go to get it checked out. But, Dr. Ortega is one of the very best...I truly believe this. He listens, he is gentle, and he is present. His staff are friendly and caring...you can feel the care when you walk in the office. He even had a new "office" person today and she greeted me with warmth and a "generosity of spirit" when I walked in. He has windows you can look out of when you are in the chair and a TV/movie screen on the ceiling that you can watch. It helps to ease and comfort. I have been in before and it is always this way...warm, welcoming, and full of care. I had to go in today for a bit of an emergency (half of my face is still numb as I write) and Dr. Ortega and his staff treated me like I was their friend. I am now home and feeling grateful for a dentist who makes me feel valued and not like "just another patient." I give deep gratitude to the entire office.

This place really is great especially if you have awful anxiety. From the first phone call with Jill who made things easy and she was so kind. The dental assistant was quick and got done what needed to be done. The dentist was honest, upfront, no judgement, quickly got to work fixing my tooth. But on top of it he was aware of my anxiety issues, checked on me a lot to make sure I was doing good and talked me through everything. I spent hours combing through San Diego dentists looking for ones who handled patients like myself but were also trustworthy and honest. This is the place to go. They are all nice, they all make you feel comfortable, the numbing didn't hurt and I just felt at ease which is almost impossible for me to feel at a dental office. If your nervous give this location a chance and get your smile back were you want it. I haven't gone to a dentist in 8-9 years due to dental trauma as a teenager and my teeth show it. I wish I had found this place sooner but we have to start somewhere. Follow up to my last appointment I had my permanent crown point on and it went perfectly. I was also experiencing high anxiety and the dentist as well had his dental assistant made me comf
