Dr. Thomson & her team are amazing! Super friendly, warm, and efficient. From scheduling my husband’s appointment to check out, her front desk staff was flawless. Dr Thompson was superb! She took the time to explain my tooth issues, and showed me the data (e.g., x-rays) illustrating what was the problem. She then worked hard implementing a solution. I went home with only minor pain, that soon abated. Her assistant, Susanna (I hope that’s correct) was very attentive to my comfort, as well. Even offered me a blanket when I mentioned that I was cold. Given that it was a root canal problem, I actually had a nice time. ;-)

I just had the most comfortable and easiest experience at La Jolla Microendodontics. I had a Hemorrhagic Stroke in 2022 and it has left me with, not only a brain injury, but some very real PTSD issues. Dr. Katherine Thomson and her entire staff listened to me and responded to my needs with empathy, care and professionalism, which I have not received from other Endodontists in the past 2 years. In fact, my anxiety disappeared when my procedure started because of the mannerisms of Dr. Thomson and her Nurse. I am relocating out of state and will definitely consider flying back to San Diego to have Dr. Thomson work on any procedure I may need in the future. When I first came into the office the front desk secretaries greeted me so politely and very reassuring. Her name was Yadira and Elizabeth. I had questions and they were really understanding and knowledgeable. I had a great experience because even though I was in pain arriving, their hospitality was inviting and helped me to understand I was in good hands. Dr. Thomson was very professional and informed me of the process thoroughly and was very kind. I recommend this location to anyone who wants to be in excellent care
