I recently had a root canal with Dr. Shamtoub, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From the moment I arrived, both Dr. Shamtoub and his assistant were warm, friendly, and professional. What impressed me most was how comfortable he made the entire procedure. He uses the latest technology and equipment, which made the root canal surprisingly quick and painless. Throughout the treatment, he regularly checked in to make sure I was doing okay and comfortable. After struggling with pain and discomfort in one of my molars, I found Dr. Gabreal, and he was absolutely amazing. He explained the entire procedure in detail and patiently answered all my questions. His staff is just as wonderful as he is. He uses the latest technology, which made the procedure smooth and comfortable. The root canal lasted about three hours, but honestly, it wasn’t bad at all. I left feeling great, and if I ever need another root canal, I will definitely go back to him.

If the words “root canal” make you nervous, allow me to introduce you to Dr. Gabreal Shamtoub of LA Endodontics, a doctor who somehow transforms one of dentistry’s most dreaded procedures into an experience that feels calm, reassuring, and surprisingly comfortable. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the professionalism of the entire office. The facilities are modern, immaculate, and equipped with state of the art technology that immediately inspires confidence. Dr. Shamtoub and his support staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely caring throughout the entire process. Most importantly, the procedure itself was remarkably thorough and virtually pain free. Dr. Shamtoub explained everything clearly, worked with incredible precision, and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. What I expected to be an ordeal turned out to be one of the smoothest medical experiences I’ve ever had. Another pleasant surprise was the cost. Hands down, one of the most gifted endodontists alive! Forever grateful to Dr. Gabreal and his team for completely changing how I feel about root canals. I was terrified going in, but their knowledge, precision, and care meant I wasn’t even shaking and I always shake in the dental chair. I had tooth #30 done with tiny double canals, and the work is truly exceptional (see the images!) I mentioned my high sensitivity, and they actually listened and applied numbing gel before the anesthesia shots, then tested with ice to confirm I was numb before touching anything. Most dentists just start drilling and deal with the “ouch” after. Not here. They also used a bite block so I didn’t have to hold my mouth open the whole time. Zero pain during, and no throbbing the next day like they warned about, just a little jaw tightness, which was the only discomfort of the entire experience. One thing I researched and want to pass on: the CT scan matters. Insurance won’t cover it, but it gives a precise map of your canals instead of guessing. Worth every penny in such a delicate area.
