I am so impressed with Dr. Steven Nguyen and his entire team! Yesterday was only my second visit as a new patient, and Dr. Nguyen did an amazing, careful job fixing my cavity. He took his time explaining everything and even gave me special goggles so the curing light wouldn't bother my eyes. He has a great sense of humor that instantly puts you at ease in the chair. On my very first visit, he gave me a 15-minute lecture on flossing because I had never flossed in my life. Thanks to his speech, I am officially flossing regularly now, and my breath already smells better! A huge shout-out to Lourdes for making the sign-up process and scheduling appointments incredibly easy, and to the rest of the staff for being super friendly. I trust them so much that my girlfriend is already booked for her first visit next week!

Dr. Steven Nguyen and his team have redefined going to the dentist - they are wonderfully talented, caring, and professional. He genuinely cares about the comfort of his patients during and after treatment. Dr. Nguyen delivers extremely high quality cleaning, dentistry and other orthodontic services.

I honestly am unsure how I feel about this place and their staff. The building itself is weird? It might just be my scheme of other dentist offices, but it was very open and I could hear a whole bunch of noises, and distractions coming from other chairs, which freaked me out and bit. There was also a lot of disruptions from the staff themselves, and it made me feel even more uncomfortable having the front desk lady walk straight next to my chair as I'm getting my teeth done. My nurse/assistant who started my cleaning was very nice. She would now and then ask if I was doing okay, and made my X-ray scanning an easy task. The dentist who did my cleaning is the reason I'm unsure about this establishment. He is a very nice gentleman. My old dentist establishments usually has the nurse clean and pry my mouth and then the doctor does the discussing about my actual teeth, but this time around, the dentist had cut in between what the nurse was doing and started cleaning my teeth himself. It was no biggie though, but it felt weird to have two people leaning over me. I had a mixed experience with HB Smile. In the beginning, everything felt very professional and well-organized, and I was genuinely impressed with the level of care and communication. However, as time went on, my experience became more concerning. I noticed that multiple procedures were being billed to my insurance, and later I found out that some of those treatments may not have actually been necessary. That raised some serious questions for me about transparency and treatment planning. What was most frustrating is that once my insurance benefits were used up, I was not clearly informed that my treatment plan had essentially come to an end. Better communication around that would have made a big difference and helped me plan accordingly. Since then, I’ve had to seek care at another dental office, where my situation ultimately led to having all of my teeth removed. While that has been a difficult process, I am now in the process of getting a brand new set of teeth/implants, which I’m hopeful about moving forward. Today was my very first visit, and I already know this will be my dental practice for years to come. From the moment I walked in, I felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. Trina was especially incredible! She went above and beyond with transparency and treatment planning, making sure I fully understood everything and felt confident every step of the way. The entire staff was unbelievably kind, gentle, and patient, which immediately put me at ease. They made what can usually be a nerve-wracking experience feel comfortable and stress-free. Dr. Steven Nguyen was absolutely amazing as well. Professional, accommodating, and clearly passionate about patient care. I honestly can’t believe this was my first visit! It felt like I had been coming here for years. I’m so grateful to have found a practice that truly prioritizes comfort, communication, and trust. Highly, highly recommend!
