My wisdom teeth extraction with Dr Lee was quick and painless. I highly recommend him as a dentist. He’s very skilled and very reassuring. I’m very afraid of the dentist at baseline, and I’m also in healthcare so I know just enough to be even more panicked. 1000% recommend Dr Lee and Grace Dental.

I've never had a cavity in my life, and the dentist here tells me I have 5 cavities. I'm shocked to hear this so I ask, "which teeth have the cavities?" I thought this was a reasonable question, but he seemed to get impatient and responded, "it's your choice, do whatever you want." So I decided to get a second opinion elsewhere. When my new dentist said, "Looks good, see you in 6 months." I was again surprised I could go from 0 to 5 back to zero cavities, so I wanted to confirm, "everything looks good?" I asked. And he said yes. I'm sure there is some amount of subjectivity when deciding how necessary a procedure is, but the stark contrast between the assessment from Grace Dental vs every other dentist I've ever seen (and compounded by their dentist's brusque response to my brief attempt at understanding my situation) did not inspire confidence or trust. I will not be returning to Grace Dental. EDIT: (responding to the comment below) It was indeed this location at Divisadero and Oak in SF. I feel so cared for at Grace Dental, more than I’ve ever experienced elsewhere. The staff is super friendly, supportive, communicative, professional, and efficient. Very glad I found them and am fortunate enough to be in their care.

So, I’ve had around 10 appointments over the past 6 months (don’t ask me why), and I’ve fallen in love with this place and the entire team. Dr. Lee is an amazing person and a true professional. The assistants are always cracking jokes, and the whole experience is genuinely fun. And a separate ❤️ goes to the adorable receptionists- those two girls are willing to do everything and anything to make their patients feel welcome and satisfied and also get their meds on time :) Needless to say - I will always come back.

Honestly one of the best experiences I’ve had at a dentist office. Everyone was super friendly and made the whole process easy and comfortable. The dentist explained everything clearly and didn’t make me feel rushed at all. You can tell they actually care about their patients and want to do good work instead of just getting people in and out. Definitely glad I found this place and I’d recommend them to anyone looking for a good dentist.
