I had a great experience getting my dental implant at Formosa. The entire team was very friendly, professional, and caring throughout the whole process. They made me feel comfortable and well taken care of. I’m very happy with my experience and would highly recommend Formosa to anyone looking for quality dental care!

Great! Staff is really friendly from over the phone and in person. Emily Liu was the only doctor at the time that had openings very nice and walked me through the whole process. I forget the name of the person who actually cleaned my teeth, but she was great and the gentleman at the front desk was really nice too!

During my first visit for a dental cleaning, the hygienist was incredibly patient and provided a detailed explanation of my dental health. I felt so impressed that I thought I had finally found a professional I could trust for the long term. ​However, my subsequent two experiences have been quite confusing and disappointing. During this third visit, there was zero communication throughout the entire cleaning process. The hygienist didn't provide any feedback or updates regarding the condition of my teeth. While I understand that healthcare professionals can be busy or tired, the consistency of professional service and basic respect for patients should not be compromised. ​This experience has left me reconsidering whether I should look for a new clinic. Fortunately, the doctor’s follow-up examination remained professional, which was the only saving grace of the visit.

I was a new patient due to a recent tooth accident and wanted to have a dental appointment ASAP. I found this clinic due to the name of it because Taiwan is my home country. :) Dr. Emily Liu and the hygienist Martha are both very gentle and welcoming during the procedures. They are both patient, professional and lovely to work with while I was nervous about my tooth condition due to this recent accident. The receptionist Ignacio is very helpful regarding scheduling when I had this recent tooth accident. He is also very professional on providing billing information for my upcoming treatment before I had to ask for it. Highly recommended this clinic!

After moving to Irvine, CA from Lynnwood, WA, I was looking out for a reliable dentist. Luckily, I found Dr. Chang and his team at Formosa Dental Arts. Not only are they within my insurance network, but also they mentioned my dental insurance is excellent, allowing us to schedule free teeth cleanings every quarter. Dr. Chang is friendly and detail-oriented, and his team members are highly professional. They assisted me with deep cleaning and a dental implant procedure, both of which went smoothly. The crowns they provide come with a 5-year warranty, and Dr. Chang even helped me redo mine for free. It's wonderful. My wife also had an old crown issue, and their team handled her procedure nicely. They provide dental care for children too. Dr. Chang noticed an issue with my kids' teeth and referred us to Simply Orthodontics in Irvine for further investigation. Now, my kids are undergoing treatment and wearing Invisalign. If you're looking for a reliable dentist, Dr. Chang is your best option. Highly recommended!
