EndoCare saved me from one of the most excruciating experiences I’ve ever endured due to a deep tissue infection beneath my crowned molar. Upon my arrival at the Oakland office, I received exceptional patient care. They swiftly secured a procedure date at the Alameda office and prescribed medications to treat the infection. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Shah for her informative consultations and for performing my root canal procedure, which was both painless and successful. She had really great bedside manners as well and being very empathetic listening to me with the extreme pain I was experiencing. I highly recommended this clinic as your first stop for a root canal or any similar oral care treatment/procedure.

I had a root fracture and was in so much pain! My general dentist, Dr. Taylor Kent, referred me to EndoCare and Dr. Hamid. It’s important to preface this by saying I get very nervous going to the dentist, but the pain finally took over. I’m so grateful for this referral because my experience was nothing short of excellent from beginning to end. Stephanie at the front desk was always so kind and patient with me. The assistants were gentle, reassuring, and informative, and Dr. Hamid was incredible. He was fast, the numbing was painless, and he was pleasant, kind and funny, which was such a gift on an otherwise stressful day. I highly recommend this practice for root canals or any endodontic needs. I’m now pain-free and will be back to see these wonderful people in a week. So grateful for the entire team!

I entered feeling apprehensive and full of anxiety but left with a smile. The entire staff were so welcoming and kind. The facility remarkably clean. Dr. Hamid must be an artist in his craft and I loved how he vibed to the sound of reggae music playing in the background. He treated me like a personal friend and I felt safe under his care. I've already recommended him to my closest friends and family after being recommended by my own dentist. Thank you all for providing the comfort I needed during my first root canal.

I went in for a root canal on July 22nd, and although the procedure was quick, Dr. Hamid ended up calling me back 20 minutes later because the filling wasn’t completed to his standards. So I drove back and had to get another anesthetic injection so he could complete the procedure. During both sessions, he continued to press down on my lip in a painful way and even when I tried to indicate that his hand placement was hurting, he didn’t adjust. Today, my lip is bruised and sore right where he was pressing down. So, overall I would not recommend this practice because of that experience. There are other specialists who can perform routine root canals while also prioritizing bedside manners and respect for a patient’s time and comfort.

My dentist referred me to EndoCare in Alameda for a root canal. My experience was excellent. Some of the equipment used in the procedure were very high tech and I have never seen before. There was a 3D x-ray machine that took a 3D picture of my teeth. The doctor used a microscope type machine with a light at the end all throughout the procedure which I'm sure gave him an excellent view of the tooth. Dr. Reza Hamid was very professional. I was highly impressed overall with this practice.
