1-Star Review This was by far the worst dental experience I’ve ever had. I originally scheduled with Eastland Dental because the Brownwood office is being remodeled. When I booked the appointment, I was told that my insurance covered the visit and that they would be able to clean my teeth and diagnose any issues. The first appointment had to be rescheduled because I was told the doctor would not be available at my scheduled time. I came back later that day, arrived at 12:30, and wasn’t seen until around 1:45. The dental tech took X-rays and cleaned my teeth, but the cleaning lasted maybe five minutes and honestly did not feel thorough at all. My teeth still felt dirty afterward. The doctor then came in for only a few minutes, looked everything over, gave me an estimate of around $13,000 after insurance, and referred me somewhere else to have a tooth pulled. I was then told that the extraction would cost somewhere around $700–$1,300. At no point when I originally scheduled was I told that I would have to be referred elsewhere for treatment. I got a tooth extraction done and I was incredibly anxious but the woman up front was so very sweet. She saw me the day before and she knew I was in a lot of pain so I felt like she got me in there very quickly when the doctor was in, which I incredibly appreciate and the minute there was a plan we were able to execute the plan immediately, which was fantastic because it has essentially alleviated most of my pain. I will be coming back for future check-ins and cleanings.

Great clinic! The assistants/receptionist were very friendly and fast and got me and in out quickly. Would highly recommend this clinic if you’re looking for one in the area! Dr.Shallu is fast and very sweet as well!

This dentist practice has failed me in more ways that I am willing to admit. I went in for an infection in the front of my mouth, they claimed it was because of a tooth, not in the problem area. I proceeded to spend $5k to remedy, what I trusted was the issue… instead the infection came back within a week of having the recommended procedure. After, calling she placed me on another round of strong antibiotics, I went again & she didn't even examine the original and continuing problem. After two visits she put me on over 6weeks of antibiotics, ive had zero follow up. No concern about the condition of my mouth. Fast forward 3months later… my gums going from inflammation to Numbness, i end up in an emergency unit. Guess what the ER DOC told me? ‘nothing much i can do, you need more antibiotics’. 10 more says of strong medication and then ‘we advise you see your dentist’. 5 months of completely unprofessional care for someone with a life threatening auto immune condition. This is just part of the problems. In 2021 I began a full dental recovery, which resulted in her performing a crown procedure on my front tooth, Ive had a charisma gap in my two front teeth my entire life. When consult

My daughter obviously has a hole in her tooth, and a cavity on one of the top teeth and a tooth coming in behind her bottom teeth. Does the dentist seem to concerned. No. Not at all. We will be getting a new dentist. I asked for a deep clean, and alls they did was put that sandy stuff they put on my kids teeth and scrape my bottom front teeth. Even though I prepaid for the service, and then was told that I just got a simple clean and paid for that. But not to worry my teeth are in very good shape. When I know that they definitely need a deep clean. The office staff is super sweet though. And I’ve never had an issue with the dentist assistants in the office. I just wish they had a more loving dentist to support their career goals. She’s terrible in my opinion.
