I've been coming to Dream Dental in Torrance for over a decade and they're always amazing! Today my deep clean went by quickly, and the whole team had great bedside (chairside?) manner. Getting extra topical numbing was no trouble, they always prioritize comfort. I super appreciate that they're very communicative as it helps me feel more relaxed. I don't live close by, but dental care this good is absolutely worth the drive! My teeth are 'high maintenance', but the team here is ONLY supportive (never a guilt-trip like I've gotten at other practices!) Dream Dental has handled my root canal, veneers, Invisalign, many fillings, and semiannual cleanings and I'm so happy with the results!

The staff was very professional and cordial on the phone and in person. I called the office to move up my appointment, and they informed me that my regularly assigned hygienist was not available on the new date. They offered to schedule me with a new hygienist (new to the office not the profession). I was hesitant, but had no choice but to accept. Most of the manual teeth cleaning went well; however, when the hygienist switched to the ultrasonic scaler, she appeared to be less experienced. There was a moment when she was a bit distracted and allowed the tip of the supersonic scaler to touch my lower lip. I found the hard way that the lower part of the instrument was extremely hot, and it startled me. I thought I would get a blister from the burn. I told the hygienist that it was hot. She didn’t believe me, so she touched it. She didn’t use the instrument anymore. I was relieved! As I was leaving the office, I was asked to schedule my next appointment. I was further asked if I wanted to schedule with the same hygienist, and I refused. I never want to have my teeth cleaned by the same hygienist. No thank you!

This was a very pleasant first visit. Dr. Kim and his staff are helpful, kind and a pleasure to meet. He is patient and careful in performing his procedures. I especially like the fact that Dr. Kim is hands on and does not run an “assembly line” type of dental services. His assistants assist, but he does the work professionally and with sensitivity to what I was experiencing. They do not seem to just cram a bunch of expensive treatments on you. They give informed and well explained options and support your choices. 2 Thumbs up!!!!
