With over 20 years of experience, she specializes in diagnosing, preventing, and treating periodontal diseases, and dental implant placement. Dr. Zarkesh attained Diplomate status from the American Board of Periodontology and served as Past President of Santa Clara County Dental Society (SCCDS). Graduating from USC's Periodontics Specialty Program, she obtained her Certificate in Periodontics and Masters in Craniofacial Biology. Dr. Zarkesh was licensed in California in 1996 and has been practicing periodontics in Southern and Northern California. She started Perio4U in 2003 and relocated to San Jose in 2013.

Dr Zarkesh taught by reviewing the diagnostics with me so I could make a good decision. She was thorough with details which made a huge difference. I had no problems with the antibiotics nor the pain medication as I had during a root canal. She is very hands on and oversaw everything which gave me confidence for the surgery. I do not give doctors 5 stars but in my experience she deserves it.

Dr. Niloofar Zarkesh is a very professional and caring doctor. I have undergone several periodontal procedures with her, and I have always felt comfortable knowing she would perform them expertly, resulting in the expected outcomes. Her staff is excellent, and the office is very clean and welcoming.

Dr. Zarkesh and her staff are amazing and so patient with my 83 year old mom who has dementia. She has a hard time following instructions, but they are so gentle and sweet with her. I highly recommend Perio-4-U

Dr. Zarkesh performs high quality work. I had a tooth extraction and implant and both procedures went smoothly. Everyone at the office is kind and welcoming. Dr. Zarkesh knows what she is doing, takes the time to expain everything, and answers any questions thoroughly. I trust her work and highly recommend!

Dr. Zarkesh is a very skilled and compassionate periodontist, who completed a tissue graft from my palate to cover my lower incisor roots. When I had post surgery concerns, she fit me in to her schedule to check how everything was healing. I recommend her and her office team at perio4u for your periodontal needs.
