I had a really frustrating experience with the front desk here. I specifically told the receptionist that my insurance had only been terminated two days ago and had given a new one to update but was told that my new insurance wasn’t in network but that my old one was still okay for the visit today. The receptionist tells me it’s okay and takes me back anyways but then after my appointment I was suddenly told I owed $250 out of pocket. When I questioned why from the other receptionist she completely changed her story and claimed that I had told her my insurance was still active for the rest of the month which is not what I said at all. I only said I had been terminated two days prior. It feels incredibly dishonest and unprofessional to mislead a patient like that and then shift the blame afterward. If I had been told upfront that my insurance wasn’t accepted I would have made a different decision. Transparency matters! Especially when people are making healthcare decisions and trusting your staff to give accurate information.Definitely double-check everything yourself if you go here, because the front desk communication is unreliable and just was trying to cover themselves.

‼️ IF YOU GOT A REFERRAL OR LOOKING TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT, AVOID THIS PLACE. ‼️ The front desk was INCREDIBLY RUDE. They had no acknowledgement when I asked about making an appointment. They said they didn’t know what place I was being referred to with a passive aggressive, condescending attitude. Immediately after not wanting to assist me, I was put on hold for 15 minutes without even knowing and it sent me to voicemail. I called back, the phone picked up and immediately hung up. I called back again and the front desk lady gave me crazy attitude telling me to stop calling the office. She was super aggressive in her tone this time. That was when I stopped calling. ‼️ Please avoid this place and DO NOT give them your money as they do not deserve it. ‼️

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had my first visit with Dr. Blum, and my experience was excellent! The receptionist was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and kind from the moment I arrived. Dr. Blum took the time to clearly explain my condition and made me feel very comfortable and confident about my treatment plan. I honestly don’t understand the negative reviews, my experience so far has been very positive and pleasant. Highly recommend!

I called to make an appointment with this man who calls himself a doctor. On the first call, a woman answered, and when I spoke with her, she was rude, telling me that appointments were only available until the year 2030 — which I found unbelievable. I then asked again if they could give me an appointment, and she hung up on me. After that, I called numerous times, and the same woman kept being disrespectful, finally telling me that I “sounded like a Black person,” which is something very serious. I find it terrible that someone like her works in a place meant to care for patients who are seeking a “specialist.” I would never want to go to this man, even if it means having to go to another state to find an oral and maxillofacial specialist.

My daughter had an appointment with Dr. Blum for what was supposed to be a review of an MRI. Things started off oddly when they wanted to scan for the fitting of a splint. This didn't make sense because a scan from 3 months ago was provided by the previous Dr. along with information that she already had a splint so no scan was needed. After a quick review of her file, he suggested a splint to be worn. She informed him that she had been doing her best to wear it at night. He then said it had to be worn all day for a number of weeks before he would consider surgery. My daughter explained that was unreasonable given the splint affects speech and is obtrusive, which is why she wore it at night. There was no compromise, no consideration for her age or lifestyle. An impasse had been reached and it was time to leave. She got up and waited for me to gather our items to leave. Dr. Blum said she needed to move and she informed him she was waiting for me. He then got agitated and told her to move to which she reiterated she needed her stuff. Upon leaving the exam room Dr. Blum called her an obnoxious young woman, too which my daughter used some choice words in return. He then told her she nee
