In 1975 when I was 15 yo, Dr. Wolford performed my upper jaw surgery at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth. I had a rather severe overbite that he and his team corrected. He was absolutely incredible then. I cannot thank him enough for giving me the best outcome.

I recently had arthroscopic surgery with Dr. Wolford, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience and results. I had dislocated joints that he expertly anchored back into place, and the entire process—from consultation to recovery—was smooth and reassuring. Dr. Wolford is not only incredibly skilled, but also genuinely caring and attentive. He and his wife, Denise, created such a warm and welcoming environment that immediately put me at ease. Their kindness and professionalism made a challenging situation so much easier. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. My name is Ryen Moorhead and I am a teenager who had major maxillofacial surgery with Dr. Larry Wolford in May, and I truly cannot express how grateful I am for him and his team. I was diagnosed with juvenile idiopathic arthritis in both TMJ joints, and the condition had completely eroded my joints. I needed bilateral TMJ prosthesis replacements, a chin extension, and upper jaw advancement. Because my joints were deteriorating, my top and bottom teeth no longer touched, leaving a huge gap that made it impossible to bite down on anything. On top of that, I struggled with insecurity about my side profile because I had no jawline, and my face looked extremely thin.This entire diagnosis and process was terrifying at first, but Dr. Wolford and his wife Denise were the absolute best people I could have ever asked for. Denise is the sweetest person ever, she was so kind, patient, and incredibly helpful with scheduling and logistics. Dr. Wolford himself is the most prepared, knowledgeable, and compassionate surgeon in the world. The only doctor you can trust! He helped repair what another provider in the area did! Denise and Dr. Wolford have gone above and beyond for me! Another provider in the area destroyed my face, concealed nerve damages in his own OP reports, then hid osteomyelitis of my bone, kept me from seeking care with Dr. Wolford who would have saved me. Then convinced me i needed a 4th surgery. My bone was infected and weak and that provider left me with golf ball size fluid collections and metal fragments in my face. Never told me of these complications. Dr. Wolford took over my care and is the only trustworthy OMFS doctor you should trust. We love you both Denise and Dr. Wolford who've been so patient throughout my emotional journey. I only wish I had gone to Dr. Wolford from the beginning. I still have a future of uncertainty and even chronic osteomyelitis caused by another doctor in this Dallas area. So be careful and only trust Dr. Wolford. Thank you both for helping me❤️❤️❤️

Update: Denise, this long wordy post that you have concocted does not white wash the facts. Fact, Dr Larry Wolford did not diagnose me correctly. He did not diagnose anything. Fact, his surgical plan has done irreparable damage to my jaw and body. I am now completely disabled. Fact, you are only interested in your own bottom line and not whether I ever recover. I am not going to reach out to you because reaching out to you would imply that I still trust Dr. Wolford to potentially operate on me again. I do not trust him to do anything. Not to mention that whatever he would do would not be free and I don’t have another 65K laying around. Your motives are completely transparent. You’re just embarrassing yourself. Dr Larry Wolford did not diagnose me correctly at all. In fact he didn’t diagnose anything. What he did was sell me an unnecessary and extremely expensive operation. I paid him $65K (out of pocket) to replace my jaw joints and perform double jaw surgery. This surgery made my actual problem profoundly worse. It has become very clear I will NEVER regain the function of my jaw. Do your research. Dr Wolford has a history of misleading and over diagnosing his patients. He is not
