Dr. Kao went on a long journey with me and my teeth. He is absolutely the best. Not only doctor but human. I can’t say enough about this wonderful man. Thank you for sticking with me and NEVER giving up. I have my permanent teeth and they feel great.

Hate to do this, as I'm sure he's an excellent oral surgeon, but unfortunately my wife and I had a very poor experience trying to get set up for her to visit him for a consultation. She was born with cleft palate and her jaw bones are deteriorating to the point where it's a medical issue. Dr. Kao IS covered under our BlueCross BlueShield insurance, but ONLY upstairs, not in his downstairs office. We set an appointment to see him a couple of weeks ago, which was a very time-consuming process in and of itself, and were very surprised to find that my wife's consultation was with interns rather than Dr. Kao. I expressed my frustration with that as we pay a lot for our insurance and deserve to get great treatment. Anyway, we had the consultation and they reached back out a week or so later to set up a follow up with Dr. Kao in his downstairs office, but made it clear he is NOT in network for us downstairs. While it's excellent that Dr. Kao and the upstairs team appears to take care of many people of lower socio-economic status, it's very sad that people in the middle-class have to jump through absolute hoops to get taken care of, and that doctors will do anything they can to avoid go

I've always dreaded having my wisdom teeth extracted, 3 of which were impacted. My visit with Dr. Kao was wonderful. I was in and out of the office within an hour, minimal pain and swelling the following day. I'm on post-op day 6 and feel great! His office staff was attentive, punctual and very helpful!

I grew up never having to go to the dentist. I was pretty lucky with my teeth, until my wisdom teeth came in. I dealt with an impacted wisdom tooth for awhile, until I could no longer handle it! I was TERRIFIED of going in to see the doctor to have my wisdom teeth removed! I am SO glad I went to Dr. Kao! He was AMAZING!!!! He eased all my fears and concerns and walked me through the entire process! His office is SUPER clean and professional! I couldn’t of asked for a better experience!!!! I was so lucky to get Dr. Kao and HIGHLY recommend him!!! I CANNOT say enough good about my experience with his office and staff! He was so patient and answered all my questions pre and post! He even called to check on me after the procedure to see how I was doing! Best experience ever!

Dr. Kao and his team are thorough, informative, and make you feel as though you are in the best hands with all of the options available. I had to have multiple surgeries with Dr. Kao and the experience exceeded my expectations. His office staff was always kind and went above and beyond to ensure I understand my treatment plan and could maximize my benefits. Dr. Kao personally followed up on my status following surgery and was available anytime I needed to discuss an issue. I would recommend Dr. Kao to anyone!
