A few months ago, I started seeing Dr. Demerjian based off a recommendation from my dentist. The left side of my jaw was closing slower than the right, while I had been experiencing (for years) head, neck, and shoulder pain. My dentist reasoned I had TMJ but needed a formal diagnosis. Not only did Dr. Demerjian help me understand my eventual TMJ diagnosis, he walked me through every step of the way for treatment. Now, I not only have wayyyy less pain in my jaw, but my neck, head, and shoulder pain has all dramatically decreased. He is incredibly patient and kind, and extremely thoughtful in how he treats you. His work is life changing. Please give him your time if you have any TMJ issues!

I had frightening pain and an inability to open my jaw fully. I was referred to an oral surgeon who did things that didn't help/possibly made it worse. My dentist mentioned Dr. Demerjian. The testimonials on his website were encouraging. Then I saw him--and he made me cry. I felt certain I found what I needed. In 6 mos, Dr. Demerjian helped virtually eliminate my pain and got me from being able to open my jaw 36mm to 60mm. He's also just a great *doctor*--you never feel rushed, you always feel listened to, and he walks you through every step of his process, encouraging questions and offering jokes. Please, I implore you, if you are experiencing TMJ pain, see Dr. Demerjian. Also? Jasmine in reception is a treasure.

I highly recommend Dr. Demerjian for his thoughtfulness and thoroughness, his knowledge, and his kindness. We need more healthcare providers like him. If you’ve been referred to him or need to see a specialist in the areas he practices, you’ll be in good hands. I had to pay out of pocket for my treatment because his office does not accept insurance – but it was well worth it. I began treatment with Dr. Demerjian in fall 2023 after nearly a year of seeing various specialists related to neck pain, chronic throat irritation, and voice issues, and experiencing no improvement. The irony in this whole experience is that I didn’t initially visit Dr. Demerjian to address any of these issues but rather for him to evaluate me for a potential TMJ disorder. Specifically, I had communicated to my dentist, during a routine dental exam one month prior, that there was an increasingly frequent, painful and audible popping in my jaw. After his own examination, my dentist referred me to Dr. Demerjian for a TMJ evaluation. I first visited Dr. Demerjian’s office one month after receiving the referral, and he performed an attentive and very thorough evaluation. On that specific day, I just so happened

Dr. Demerjian is hands down a professional TMJ specialist who genuinely cares for his patience! His Staff are also top notch and professional, it’s a real pleasure to see them at my appointments. I suffer from TMJ and its painful results of teeth grinding / clenching and have been for over 20 years. I had never seen a specialist for my condition before. When I came to see Dr. D, he really took the time to listen to my concerns and the symptoms I’ve been experiencing, conducted tests and proposed a treatment plan. I can say his custom mouth guards he made me are excellent quality and design. Once on the treatment road, my symptoms have greatly improved, I no longer wake up with sore jaws, and teeth. If you have TMJ or feel you may need to see a TMJ specialist, Dr. Demerjian REALLY IS your GO TO DOCTOR for this painful condition you’re experiencing.

SO thankful for Dr Demerjian, have been seeing him and his staff for over 7 years now! He helped me completely correct my pain and discomfort from TMJ and I more recently had an issue with my bite and alignment which he used a chiropractic technique and aligner device to correct. I wasn’t able to bite down in the back of my mouth with my back molars touching and after one visit already back on track! Couldn’t recommend Dr Demerjian enough, I only wish I had gone to him first for this most recent visit over seeing my dentist. He really knows his stuff which is so comforting, doctors like him seem to be rare these days, a master of his craft. Cannot recommend enough!!
