I was disappointed to learn that Bunker Hill Pediatric Dentistry now adds a 3% credit card surcharge. In my view, this is a normal cost of doing business that should be built into pricing rather than passed directly to patients. Most major businesses—HEB, restaurants, and many other healthcare providers—accept credit cards without adding a separate fee at checkout. It feels frustrating to pay an additional surcharge on services that are already expensive. If you plan to pay by credit card, be aware of this extra charge before your appointment. While the dental care may be good, the added fee left a negative impression and is something prospective patients should know about when choosing a provider.

While this is generally a decent practice, the office has become way too rushed. The dentist jumps quickly between patients, leaving technicians to do most of the work, which is leading to miscommunications. During our last visit, the dentist gave specific instructions to seal only one molar and leave the other open due to weak enamel. While I stepped away for a cost estimate, the technician misheard and was about to seal both. I had to insist she double-check with the doctor, who confirmed I was right. Because things were moving too fast for accurate care, I cancelled my child's scheduled filling on the spot. I explained to the dentist that her rushed pace is causing breakdowns in communication. I don't want to bash the practice, but they really need to slow down for patient safety.

Idk how this place is still in business. The way this office runs is insane and the way the doctor treats her employees is so bad. I’m not sure how anyone can give Dr. Luu a good review with how rude she is with everyone. I would never give a person like her my business. Try another pediatric dentist office.

I spent time researching a visiting other offices that make my autistic kids comfortable and let me tell you how AMAZING this office is. They have accomadated the needs of my kids. They are very honest and transparent about treatment plan but my absolute favorite thing is they listened to my concerns and they created a plan around my concerns. Dr. Luu has taken care of both my autistic girls with zero judgment and nothing but patience and very understanding. I now bring all the rest of my kids here and they love the experience. Dr. Luu we appreciate you! Thank you and your staff for the amazing experience and for taking care of my kids dental health.

Been bringing my son here since he was little and the Dr and staff are just amazing! They’re very patient and have helped my son love the dentist and overcome his fear of sitting in the dental chair or taking X-rays! The office is beautiful definitely gives a world class experience 😁💛
