I was seen by Boss dental as a new patient today. I was blown away by how attentive the medical staff were and their determination to meet all of my dental concerns. The exam was very thorough and they even sent me home with referrals for continuation of care to other medical professionals. This tells me they use the holistic approach when caring for their patients.

Nelda is super nice, very professional and has ability to explain well. Dr. Boss is the very best in CC. I have had lots of work there and he is just great. Louisa at the desk helps with ppl with dental insurance. Great place. Convenient location .

Now I've left Boss Dental for the second and hopefully final time. The first time I left was because the dentist who worked there left for another city and because I was disgusted with their front staff. This time I had called in to cancel my cleaning because I was sick and was given another appointment but not for three months into the future. When I arrived at my appointment on 6/10/26, the first thing I noticed was that all the chairs in the waiting area were cracked and blown-out. So I mentioned it politely to the front staff and suggest a local upholstery shop. They seemed extremely disinterested. Then I get called to the treatment room by a hygienist other than the one I've used for several years. I asked him why I wasn't being seen by my regular hygienist and he said, "oh, you want her" to which I replied, "yes". He said that my regular hygienist would be available and I could wait if that's what I wanted. It was, so I went back to the reception area to wait. A minute later one of the ladies at the front desk said that my regular hygienist wasn't available and that I have to reschedule. So I left totally disappointed and decided I'd never go back. I’ve been a patient here for over 30 years and have always had positive experiences until today. Unfortunately, my interaction with the new receptionist was disappointing. The level of customer service did not reflect the standard I’ve come to expect from this office. I hope they consider additional training, as first impressions over the phone are important and can really impact a patient’s experience.

I had a for real tooth emergency on 4.23.26. The first office I called said, “Oh yes. We are taking new patients starting in October!” My daughter said, “Call Boss Dental, where I go!” Not only were they much nicer from the moment they answered the phone, but the best question they asked was, “Can you come in at 1pm today?” WHAT!!!??? The hygienist and Dr. Packard took excellent care of me and referred me out to an Oral Surgeon. After this issue is over, I will return to Boss Dental for all of my regular dental needs. Going to the dentist isn’t something I look forward to, but at least I know I will be in great and caring hands just like today!
